A few years ago I was bumped up to business on Emirates because economy was overbooked. They moved some business class seat holders up to first. When I got to my new seat, the gentleman who was moved to first was still there getting his bag. Seeing how excited I was, he offered me his first class suite, since he didn't really care.
I didn't want to tempt fate and didn't take his offer. Watching the video now really makes me regret that. Emirates business class was already amazing but boy, I didn't know what I was missing!!
At least not I can get a little view of what I could have experienced... Sigh...

Your videography work is also first class. No one watching probably realizes how much work goes into positioning the camera continuously to get the shot outside the suite, the closeups of food, the shot as you get into bed etc. It edits together so smoothly, you really aren't aware of all the production and post production work it takes.

I’m flying Emirates First Class in 6 weeks, from the UK to Australia via Dubai, and it’s watching videos like yours that make me even more excited. This is a bucket list experience for me, and the one and only chance I will probably ever get to fly First Class, with any airline. So I knew if I was going to do it, it had to be with Emirates. Thanks for a great video, and it has giving me so much to look forward to, especially the caviar and Hennessy Paradis at 40,000ft lol

First class air travel has never really been affordable or justified for our holiday needs which mainly involved UK to EU destinations, but post Brexit/pandemic our taste in destinations has changed as well as our attitude towards booking 1st class to enjoy the experience even more. This channel has been a great influence & eye opener to flying & seeing my wife so happy about our upcoming 1st class long haul flight it has me wishing I should have done this many times already.

Seems like Bangkok is currently a relatively cheap starting point for one way first class flights to the Middle East with rates starting at €1900 to Muscat (DXB itself is 2000, Cairo 2300 etc). This is 'only' €550-600 more than a business class ticket on the same route which is pretty reasonable considering the upgrade in both hard and soft product.
If you want to enjoy the product for twice as long, Bangkok to Amsterdam/Brussels/Paris/Copenhagen etc in First one way is around €3000, while Business comes in at around €2000 on that route. To Brussels is especially worth it since on that route you’ll have the new 777 First product with the fully enclosed suite.

I just returned from a business class flight on EMIRATES from JFK to Maldives.
I used the JFK lounge and the DXB lounge.
    The trip was absolutely incredible!
The A380-800 Business Class is a dream given form.
The Dubai lounge was comfortable and the food was delicious. I took a shower there at 3 AM after coming in from the Maldives return flight: 737 Business Class.
My airfare was about $5200 US with taxes and insurance included. I doubt I would ever spend the extra money for first class simply because BusinessClass is so perfect.

I'm a tad surprised that in these 1st class/VIP lounges they don't have an actual espresso machine. Just coffee out of a machine, like at the gas station. The food on the flight looks world class!! I don't travel 1st class - so I'm used to a small bag of peanuts being tossed at me, while a baby is screaming.
I would totally spend the $2k for the flight experience. I assumed it would be much more.

Shame every other airline doesn't offer this & with every single route around the world 🌏 . I am { and my Mum too } suprised that it only costs $2000.00 { USD 🪙🇺🇲 } . Maybe an oversight on your part. Business class passengers also get the chauffeur service to and from your hotel in many cities. Of course my last trip with them was 4 months before the pandemic kicked off in Bangkok. If they eliminated business class chauffeur service since then, I apologize. Just don't want you to minimize the overall premium that Emirates has to offer. Btw, both lounges are other worldly, especially in Dubai.

Of course I would do this. In fact it’s on my bucket list (at least mentally) as I want to do it for a specific trip such as the next Dubai Expo.

I don't understand your are able to pay only $2K. Did you book it on the Emirates website or through an online agency? Also do you do a multi city search or do you search from your preferred A to B locations and be willing to have a long layover in Dubai?

Thank you for pronouncing Moet correctly. As you know it may be a French champagne but the creators origins were Dutch and therefore it us a hard "T"

I love how none of these guys can pronounce the name of the airport 🤣 living here for 12 years I’ve heard some great interpretations by tourists lol but on a serious note, love the channel and videos! Really helpful for me when planning what airlines and flights to use when traveling. You can trust the authenticity of all reviews which is important to us.

2k is reasonable for this I think, but I would still be nervous to book something that expensive. Maybe I would prefer to save that money and stay for longer at my destination, or something. It definitely is an experience you'll be speaking about for a long time though!!

Thanks for giving me a heads up on this video.
I expect that i'd prefer the Apartment still, at 6'6" I do prefer the longer and wider bed. The shower on Emirates looks much better, just for the increased space alone. I too with wet down, turn off the water, soap up, then water on again to rinse. I rarely hit the yellow warning light and have never hit red.
The alcohol choices look better on Emirates, and having a soft spot for fine cognac, I can see that I too will have to try it.
It is refreshing to hear the proper pronunciation of Moet.
I certainly am looking forward to my four flights coming up soon.
    Thanks for this.

If everyone were able to engineer this trip for $2,000, they'd be out of business promptly. Emirates knows how to go over the top in many ways, offering excessive luxury even on some shorter flights, but the little technical glitches and the overcooked steak show that they are mortal.

Emirates First Class from AKL to anywhere in Europe is cheaper than Air NZ Business Premier, and the service / experience isn't close. Emirates is a no brainer. Their business product is also great and very cost competitive.

We flew with Emirates many time before since 2014, due to the pademic we could not fly anywhere. The moment the VTL open with Duabi, we booked our fly out of SIN to Dubai to visit the world expo in Mar 2022 in biz class. Disappointingly, the flights both to and from Dubai were less than satisfactory. The 8 hours flight after the main meal is served, we were not offered anymore more food or drinks, moreover the crew was nowhere to be found unless you buzzed for them. The B777 biz class were not very comfortable to say the least, I feel the layout at 2-3-2 configuration was not conducive. 😣 Very very disappointed with the service with the flight!!!!!!!

Oh that's disappointing to hear. We have booked Emirates BC to Athens via Dubai return for August. It was an A380 when we booked. Now 777. Hopefully they may reinstate A380 by time we go.

I bought round trip tickets on Qatar business class from Chicago to Bangkok for $2,500 a piece 2 years ago. While it was hard to get over the sticker shock, it really was the trip of a lifetime and I definitely don't regret it. So, yeah...it's a lot of money but if it's something you saved on and can afford, try it.
