Quit saying you're lazy! You can take short cuts once you know what you're doing and what matters. You know these things! Rather, say, 'shortcut' or something.
Love, love your videos so much! I've been looking for that peel and stick stabilizer and can't find it. The link you provided isn't working. Could you please tell me where you get it from?
Time Stamp: 39:28....I would suggest you look for a glue called lock tight. When I worked at a factory, we used Lock Tight on all our screws to prevent them from unscrewing. User warning though...Use rubber gloves cause no matter how many times you wash your hands only time will get rid of the sickly sweetness from this glue. If you get it on your hands your will know next time you go and eat with your hands. It won't kill you, Lord knows I have tasted it on more than one occasion, it's just not pleasant.
I can’t afford the Bee Club Each month since I’m on a fixed income. But I’m interested in the hardware for this bag and I don’t see a link to it. Could you please give me that link?
@@handmadebyMickie I agree, a gender neutral project would also be good. I have only been a member for 2 months and was honestly very disappointed by the heart shaped bag in February. It is not something I would ever make. And the project bag last month I guess was ok. but I really wanted to do a more "normal" project with materials that aren't too off the wall. I am quite sure some people loved those two projects. That is just my personal opinion. Given they were my first two boxes I was thinking it didn't bode well for my continuing with the bag making bee.
Just finished. Cute! Negative was the zipper end because that tiny screw is longer than the metal jacket piece and I fought it and ended up piercing the other side with the screw. 😮 Didn’t know screw was not to go all the way flush. Decided not to add the metal strap ends (although cute) I was worried I would have same issue. Made my strap out of the faux leather and used rivets to secure ends. Very cute small bag.❤
Love your tutorials! I tried the link for the fusible interfacing but did not take me to a site. Can you tell me where I can find the sticky back fleece?
So excited, asked you an eternity (feels like it lol) ago to do this one. I did try it but made a mess of it previously so can’t wait to watch this and try again. You’re a great teacher.
Never carry in a bag 🤦🏻♀️ as women we are most likely to be targeted for our bag and you’re not going to walk around with your hand in the pocket on the pew pew. So if your bag is snatched then you just armed someone.
@@angelamcgovern1525 If I lived in the UK and was reading my comment and ones that prompted me to make my comment I could understand the concern because it’s not part of your culture. However here it’s pretty normal. And if you are trained it shouldn’t be scary. The number of good people carrying guns here far outweighs the bad, just news outlets like to talk about the bad all the time. During training you’re told that a purse or a bag as a female isn’t the best way to carry because we are more susceptible to purse snatching and if that happens then we have armed a criminal.

Where did you buy your fusible fleece? The site you provided won’t load.
This is beautiful Jess.
Are there any project boxes still available for this bag?
I made my 1st 1 and the zipper is wavy, not sure what caused that. Do you know?

Thanks for the tutorial! I am a bag making bee member and SO GLAD we are doing a nice normal handbag in attractive fabrics this month.
I’m still hoping for at least two or three male oriented or gender neutral projects.

I'm so excited and I haven't even watched the whole video yet! My box is supposed to be here today! 😁😄
Can't wait for my box to arrive (hopefully today)

Thanks Jess!! I love this bag!! So happy with the Bag Making Bee Club choice this month!!
Will you be making the new Bagstock pattern the oriana bowler?! 🙏🏻

I really like the shape of the bag. And something different
My everyday bag! Such a great make and end result!
Is there a trick to reducing the seam allowance on the interfacing without using the tool? I was going to order it but shipping is more than the tool.
Tape 2 pencils together and trace the outside and the inner one will give you a smaller seam allowance

What a cute little bag❤
Where oh where did you get the self adhesive fleece stabilizer?!?!
I know that fabric therapy has some
I bought mine from Amazon
What is the stabilizer called? Maybe a brand? I can’t seem to find it anywhere 😢
It would make a cute concealed carry bag .
Yes! That is the first thing I thought of.

@@naturallyjennrose2184I live in the uk and can’t believe you can have a gun let alone carry it in your handbag, I find it really scary

Wow never thought of it that way. Here in Australia we aren’t allowed to carry firearms on our person. But I understand each country is different
Best box yet!!
