I've been waiting literally years for an excuse to do an epic cover of this song. 'Don't Fear The Reaper' by Blue Öyster Cult is one of my all time favourite songs and I felt that it needed something special... so I brought in not one but TWO vocalists to record it. My first duet!
The trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III feature a slow, brooding cover of the song by Tom Rhodes which is great, but I felt it missed the mark a little with utilising the epic potential of the song - maybe I've over- compensated and gone a bit over the top haha. Let me know what you think!

I don’t like the new mw3 but this song is dope, I listened to it before mw3 came out, this is a damn good version of it.
This, Sir, Is How It Is Done. To take a song as deeply dark and beautiful as this --- this is a breathtaking masterpiece. I clicked on fully expecting to be sh*tty but the ambiance, the harmonies, oh god the female vocals in the later verses -- perfection and brilliance it gives the ONE THING that Blue Oyster Cult overlooked. When she releases that plaintive wail and then switches to a minor key and then twisting about again in a serpentine manner around the male vocals -- it is like a dance, you can see and feel movement in this rendition. Well done!! You are truly talented and I did indeed hit the subscribe button. I hope to see your name in lights!

LOL!! Thank you, kindly! I'm Gen X so I tend to be cranky about all the god-awful music out there. Basically, all decent music died when the World Trade Towers fell. Truly there's so much effing garbage. But I grew up in a family that was deeply dedicated and doused in musical influences. My grandfather's sister owned the largest (which is to say, the ONLY one) record store specializing in black gospel music in the city.
And at present if you love music, and if you search research and go deep pursuing the good stuff then like cobblestones, one leading to the next, you can find some phenomenally talented musicians who are definite contenders. And you're a contender.
It would have been soooo f**king easy to fu**k that song up, not many people could have envisioned those sounds and still produce them in real life.

That's - MASTERPIECE 😍
After watching the story of MW3, this hits very differently. Sadly, my hopes that things would be different in this timeline have been dashed as a familiar name got put in the clocktower.
Even in this timeline, the clocktower in Hereford still remains. Many names are there, including an old friend put there too soon. A name a lot of us hoped wouldn't be there, this time: that of John "Soap" Mactavish, sergeant of the SAS.

The campaign is rushed but the cutscene is okay for me, as is Conclude general shepherd story
THE CAMPAIGN IS RUSHED BUT THE THE CUTSCENE STORY IS OKAY ENOUGH FOR ME, AT IT CONCLUDE GENERAL SHEPHERD STORY. MW 1 REBOOT IS DARKER AND EDGIER ABOUT ROGUE RUSSIA , MW 2 IS LIGHTER AND SOFTER ABOUT IRAN , WHILE MW 3 IS ABOUT STANDALONE MAKAROV STORY. THE STORY IS LACKLUSTER BUT AT LEAST WE CAN SEE MAKAROV AS MEME IN MW 3 2023.
