Red Sonic was an event that happened back in January, you had to beat a level made by Vyriss called "Mountain Madness Zone", here is a video of the event made by Superkirby982: th-cam.com/video/gLst30gFbxs/w-d-xo.html .

@@mizzkorea992 you can only get red sonic in the event. Vyriss will announce on the game's Twitter whenever this event happens once again, then you'll be able to get red sonic.

Not sure what you mean but I believe you keep the Red Sonic forever, or until the creator decides to take it from you.
