I don't think Rashford strolling around or throwing his arms around is the worst aspect of his performances - it's the fact he is the worst player in the team, makes terrible decisions every time he's in the box, is selfish and predictable with the ball, and loses possession every single time he gets it. He's not "underperforming", he's just a bad player.
Spot on..the only thing that makes him LOOK "dangerous", is his pace on counter attacks..thats it!
All Rashford does is run into box to try get a shot on right foot using his pace. Minute he has a defender on him, he is lost. He doesn't do any groundwork or track back.

I don't think he is undermining Ji-Sung Park's technical ability, but rather attempting to give an example of the contrasting outputs between two players, especially when one is considered "world-class" but doesn't yield prolific results.

I loved Rashford when he first broke into the United team in 2016 but he has has been inconsistent from season to season for too long now . This season from him has been awful . I think he should go in the summer but I know he won't.
Definitely, people say "but look at last season". Look at the season before that (2021-22) and you have your answer about inconsistency.

People do not understand that "style of play" develops with personnel. With a consistent lineup. Because then the manger knows their first eleven, knows strengths and weaknesses, and forms a style that suits that unit.
I think people might be overreacting. United did fairly well last season. Players came through, they improved. There were also some decent signings like Martinez. But you cannot replicate that standard if those players aren't available due to constant injury.

Rashford is a mid-table PL player. He's been overhyped and hasn't lived up to any potential he is purported to have had. Comparing him to Mbappe loooooool. Rashford would be better at West Ham, Brighton, Wolves, Aston Villa, Tottenham, or Everton. Maybe even a big name signing for the Toon project. he's not a top six level player, and as a 26 year old, he wo't progress or get better. his basic game has not advanced since he "broke onto the scene". Souness is broadly correct in his assessment of the United team at the moment but Garnacho has been an exceptional worker on the pitch since he's come into the team. His performance against Liverpool was heroic in terms of effort and most games he's leaving the pitch absolutely wiped out.
