Yep, the first scene carries most of the weight, almost made me forget that cringe machine gun scene 😁
I'm just glad this movie didn't turn out to be a CGI-heavy, artificial looking, slow-motion ridden over-the-top goofy "masala" film. The characters have life, the dynamics are intense & have room to breathe, there are no unnecessary jokes, the cinematography & color-grading looks gorgeous and the SFX is hauntingly badass. I've never seen Ranbir THIS intense before. Vanga has cooked up absolute CARNAGE!

THis movie shows how criminal created from lack of paternal care ALONE. father sentiment...more like childhood trauma driven by his respect for and thirst to make his father proud by going to any stage when his father is the problem. in KGF, his mother was'nt the problem.

I'm glad someone had pointed it out.
I think the core concept is approval. Mr. Vanga seems to have a knack to portray relationship dynamics to the extreme. What Animal is essentially showing is that - Arjun Reddy wasn't about misogynist & dominating love - but rather possessiveness dialed up to the nth degree, the toxicity resulting from there.
In Animal, similarly the dynamic is of parental approval - particularly of a son seeking so from his father is taken to its extreme. The resulting trauma, angst, aggression, etc. contributing to how it becomes toxic.
Both characters (Arjun Reddy and Animal) seem to be insecure, self-destructive, and hyper-aggressive in their approach. At its core, both are an extremist expression of the feelings most young Indian males feel. Not to be emulated, but definitely resonant.

JUST CAME BACK FROM WATCHING THE MOVIE.
In my opinion, "Animal" is a highly entertaining film, although some viewers may find it offensive due to its portrayal of masculine dominance, ego, and powerplay. Nevertheless, the action sequences are exhilarating and convincing, despite their occasional logical inconsistencies (similar to how John Wick films portray unrealistic feats in a way that remains believable). The background music is also captivating, and despite its 3+ hour runtime, the film maintains enough momentum to keep the audience engaged. However, viewers who don't understand Hindi might find it slow-paced.
Ultimately, if someone enjoys mindless action films like "Pathaan" and "Jawan" but dislikes "Animal," their opinion is questionable.

The first scene was related to a trauma that every child go through..my story .. that my father owns a shop i went there in front of many costumers my father shouted at me and tell me to run out of the shop..i go to home running crying.. after 5 mint he realised and asked me to comeback..but that is trauma for me i was in 6 class..and still i remember all of this
This happens to everyone also to me, but now I am father of a son and I realise why my father used to get angry over me lol. Now I relate with him. Bache buhat tang krte hen yr hum bhi krte honge. Jo bap p guzar rhi hoti hai wo ab me janta hon woh har waqt bachon k liye jete hen aur unki pareshani me dunya se larte rahte hen aur woh frustration kabhi kabhi bachon p bhi nikal jati hai. You will realise this when you will be a parent.

Bcz one of the best part was where bprak Stars singing and one who knows Hindi can relate scene with song and feel the trailer.
For the first time I was intrigued to watch a trailer for a second time almost immediately like you did here ! But I believe every Indian boy will understand/feel the daddy issues portrayed here that's for sure 😅 ! And I feel that the dialogues are a real treat for Hindi audiences and the B Parak background song at the end is just wow !

The first scene has happened to 90% ppl at least once in their lifetime ,either by their father or mother or both.The ppl who have bad relationship with their father and still want their father to appreciate them will relate to this ,everytime our father comes home we are doing a battle inside our heads that do we love or hate this guy ? He is the most happy with your success and is the most dangerous person when you fail,for all our father's do to us we can't really hate him.

Steph will not understand. She didn't understand Sita Ramam's way of love. Most beautiful love story but she didn't even appreciate. She may go with the story but will not understand the underlying layer of Kabir Singh or Arjun Reddy. And I don't blame her these movies are very rooted to India and how we live. I felt Jaby when you compared that machine gun shot in the last of the trailer with the gun shot in KGF, I somehow got the feeling everyone believes that trend was actually started by KGF in Indian movies. But the fact is that trend was started in 2019 tamil movie Kaithi directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and he repeated the same in Vikram another Tamil film. Since KGF was a global hit everyone noticed that scene in KGF only.

You are right about the opening scene of the trailer. It appears to be similar to Tamasha climaxe scene. Also I would like to add Alia Bhatt Highway movie climax. Maybe he gives a reality check to his dad about the childhood trauma he had gone through. That might be the final act as well. Previously Vanga explored toxic love relationship between lovers. This time he wants to explore toxic father son relationship. I am excited for Bobby deol personally

I have already watched in #2 times in theatres and trust me it's worth all the hypes. It's a must watch in theatre. No matter how many times you watch in Netflix you won't get the same experience. The background music and the overall music is so energetic
