This registration fee is the equivalent of half a minimum wage in my country, and I have more than 200 books published. It is completely unfeasible, in addition to being a barrier to the creation of new works. Unfortunate.

Note: ACX doesn't ALWAYS ask for copyright proof, but they do sometimes which means it's always worth it to be ready for the email when it happens 👍🏼

Nope, just Ebook will suffice for both versions. Audiobooks are the ones that need to be separate from my experience.

It's always good to cover your bases in the beginning but it's up to you. Audible/ACX it is required before you publish though.
