So glad to hear from you! Glad things are going your way! Congratulations on your marriage. May it bring you nothing but happiness. I’m getting my eleven year old Royal Star Venture road ready after having had some issues that sidelined it for a year or two. I’d like to get Voyager as I have really come to like them.

Thanks for the video. I would agree, the bike runs hot in summer, mine (2017) does not pass the one before the last mark on hot (90+ F) days and the fan runs frequently. Passed 8k miles, wish it had factory center-stand.

Hey VV are you still riding the Voyager? Haven't seen any recent videos from you?? I really have enjoyed watching your videos.

Is your windshield stock? If so, how do you experience riding with such a high screen compared to something smaller?

I'm curious how the ECU flash would affect an already great running m/c? What would you expect to benefit from it? I'd like to get your take on it. Good video...

I'm curious to know more about it. Ivan is about an hour from me in Congers NY. I have a new 18 Voyager and don't have enough miles on the Bike yet to start changing things. I'm more interested in getting the fan to come on quicker so the bike can run cooler.

On Ivan's website they listed all pros, cons and requirements to the process of flashing ecu. As for the Voyager, I own all-stock 2018 one and one of my neighbors has 2017 model with ivanized ecu. What can I say... his runs smoother and feels more responsive to the throttle, i'd say not so choppy and jerky as stock one. Putting all this short -- more fun to ride. The only thing that stops me from ivanizing is the fact that this compromises the warranty. That's it.

How hot does your bike run? I have a 2012 VStar 1300 Tourer that is liquid cooled. It runs very cool. I have been thinking of buying a 2019 Voyager, but keep reading about how hot they run, which I find odd, considering it is liquid cooled.... Thanks for your reply. I really enjoy your videos.

these bikes are designed to run hot, not sure what actual temperature is, gage gets up to 0ver 3/4, but never gets too hot even in 110 degree weather, you do feel the heat off the motor, always wear pants, there is an extra fan to help pull some of the heat away from the rider on the later year models, that's about the only change made to it since 2009 introduction

I notice your gear changing is pretty clunky, going up and down the gears. Is that normal for this bike? Does it become annoying after a while?

NOISY CLUNKY GEAR CHANGING IS NORMAL ON THESE, YOU GET USED TO IT

I'm in the market for one these Motorcycle, next spring. Engine vibration is there any, at idle and through the gears?
Driving reconditioned Suzuki Intruder 2004, 1500 presently. It has low vibrations. Had a Harley 2012 for 5 years, put 31 k on it, great bike but the high pitch vibration a high speed would numb my hands out. The new Harley Milwaukee 8 doesn't have this vibration issue, they're out of my price range

Dude so far I'm loving the Vulcan Voyager. It's smooth and cruises nice.
Two things I want. One Highway pegs.
And I'd like to look or find out more about this Ivan flash. his shop is about 45 minutes from me and I wanted to put some miles on the bike before I go messing with the ECU. Right now I have just over 1700 miles on it. And loving every mile of it. Even the factory seat is pretty comfortable for an all day ride.
The Overdrive 6th gear is really nice when you get out on open Highways and you're doing 75. Next season I may consider having the flash done when it has more miles on it. Hope this helps your decision. For me for the money it's hard to find a better touring Bike. Don't let the 900lb weight of it scare you either. you get use to it real quick. and will appreciate the weight of it on the highway. it stays right in it's lane.

Sounds like a great highway cruiser. The weight of the bike on the freeway is a plus. I had a Harley 2012 Street Glide, it was 850lbs. The Suzuki Intruder VL 1500 I have, is a little lite, only 650 and needs a sixth gear, not very good on the freeway. The Suzuki VL 1500 runs great, it's a keeper and will have a Kawasaki Voyager next spring, also!
Thanks for your input, have Fun on your new Kawasaki

Ed, I ivanized mine and the only regret I have is the fact that I hadn't done this earlier! This is amazing and the only modification I have on my 2018. I am not considering such minor thing as adding bluetooth module or gps for example as modification at all.
