Love your podcast. Your projects are incredible and you have great ideas ahead. You provide great inspiration. Your colorwork sock design is very nice. It is funny how colors go together better or differently than you expect. Thank you and I look forward to more podcasts. Enjoy your knitting.

Loved this podcast! Your style really resonates with me and I really appreciate your thoughtful comments on the process, patterns and yarns (and the tips for beginners like me). You've also really opened my eyes to the possibilities of knitted socks! Do you have any thoughts on whether a sweater or socks are better for a beginner knitter to stretch their skills?
PS. Those Robin yarns are delightful 😍

Honestly I think either project would be achievable as a beginner, I would be more inclined to go for a sweater though just because sock knitting uses such small needles and can therefore be a bit fiddly sometimes, so it helps if you are comfortable with your stitches - I drop so many stitches when I knit socks so it's useful if you know how to read your knitting and fix these kinds of mistakes. For a good beginner sweater pattern I would recommend the Step by Step sweater by Handmade by Florence - it's free on ravelry and she's also made a youtube tutorial taking you through each step so it's perfect for beginners 😊I made the cardigan version and it was really well explained.xx

@littleloopsknitting Oh, that's such helpful advice, thank you! I've heard of the Step by Step sweater, I'll definitely go check that out! I do love a cardigan so I'm very excited about that recommendation too! ☺️
