Blue for spring and summer, rusty red for fall and leather for winter. All 3 are great so why not use them all and rotate them for an update with the seasons. Love your DIY skills!
The rusty orange one for sure. It truly adds something. Great job on poking out the corners on all the pillows. Details like that are what separate the great sewists from the careless ones.
I think the leather one looks great but my favourite would be the corduroy one. It adds a bit of warmth against the wood of the bed, that the leather doesn't give, and with your rug. Whichever you choose will look fab! I took a sewing class a few months ago and it was making a cushion with an envelope close but I haven't done anything with it since, so I loved the inspiration with this video 🤎
These turned out so well! The rusty red is my favorite. The color, texture and diagonal pattern is lovely. It doesn't matter what you are creating, I just love the idea of transforming used items into new and beautifully functional pieces, giving them new life (and keeping more stuff out of the landfills).
Oooh, that's a tough question. I love the way all of them turned out, good use of pattern and fabric. I really thought I would prefer the corduroy but, with the window light and the other muted colors around the bed, I think the blue brightens the room up and adds something light and airy.
before i've even finished watching, i must say it's so satisfying to see your studio actually get used. i find that it's so easy to "organize" or make things look pretty but to end up never actually using a space, but to see it in action serving you, that's the ultimate. oh, and i love the corduroy. :)
Yeah I’m loving my studio! I’m ready to finish up that space and do a bit more organizing/decluttering since stuff has been piling up a bit in there… but it’s a joy to work in that space ❤️
The red looks rich but at first sight the blue looked best and being an overthinker I have to remind myself to not second guess! Go with the very first thing that catches your eye. the red definitely works, but the blue is the one you want to use when the most important person is coming to visit
Watched this with my sister and when you said you needed throw pillows I said outloud "I bet he makes one from the leather couch from the restore" 😂 We both vote for the red, but it was a close call with the blue. Loved the stitching detail on that one.
Haha I love that you watched this with your sister ❤️ And you know me so well! I love a rescued leather moment haha! And yeah rust all the way. The tone gives the room a little lift without losing the serenity and earthiness 🙌🏻
Watching you is like watching myself 😂 down to the removing the lumps from pillows and thread tension problems! Oh and getting some fabrics off the hanging curtains 😂 and a terrific fabric stashes around the house😂 I really like all of them! Especially the attention to detail in them. I’m partial to the corduroy pillow. But they all work well and definitely should keep the other two you don’t choose to switch in at other times if you ever want to change it up occasionally. One suggestion for the next time, if you do ever do a pillow project again you might consider making the back in another great fabric and you can switch sides from time to time, if you want. Plus also get a little hint of the terrific fabric from the top/ side… I’ve been loving corduroy a lot lately but also houndstooth. There was a great houndstooth you looked over at GW, and I was like get that for your stash! lol
i do like the pattern of the corduroy pillow, but my favourite in that space is definitely the blue. it's a beautiful, calming shade & works well the other colours in that room.
Drew you are such a perfectionist! You always go that extra mile in every project. I admire that so much about you, If I could pick anyone to redecorate my house, it would hands down be you!! Thank you for sharing your decorative journey with us! My favourite is the rust colored pillow, but I'd keep all of them to interchange depending on my mood.
Andrew did it, once again! ❤❤❤❤❤ What an eye for design and style and so much creativity. I personally and unexpectedly loved blue one best! Never liked blue colour, especially that pale tone, but I'm learning to appreciate good taste. The blue looked the most high end with that quilting and the overall appearance, how it held shape. And offered the most "designer" touch. Is it somewhere on the colour wheel in relation to other colours in the room? It just offered the most "ah....this looks just right!" feeling. What a talented young man. The one to watch for 2024! Definitely
Hey Andrew, I really like the look of the lumbar pillow on the bed. The length is great. I have a corduroy pillow on my bed, but it is only about 20". The 36" is far better. As for the color my first choice would have to be the rusty orange/red color. Added a lot of life to the bed and looked like it brought some of the darker rug tones up off of the floor. The blue seemed a little too cool for the space, maybe on a sofa or in a guest room. Of course, you can never go wrong with leather. On a personal note, I'm really liking the last couple of videos with the clean-shaven face. You look fresh and ready for some summer fun.
I loved how all three pillows looked together, but if i had to choose just one, the warmth and texture of the rusty corduroy is my 1st choice, 2nd is the blue that complements the woodtones beautifully and 3rd neutral leather if you're in the mood for calming tonal blends. And yes as an avid sewer, I recently picked up an old serger machine and thought envelope pillow covers would be an easy first project to try. Incredibly, threading the machine was easier than the math and accurate cutting of fabric. Took 2 days to finish 😹
I always paint my bedroom walls orange, because I find it the most comforting, warm color, so my vote is for the orange. All three look great, and if you made shams your could swap out for the seasons, that’d be a good option too.
I love using other things (like the skirt) for throw pillows. I have found some beautiful placemats that are two sided, remove part of the stitching on one side, fill with poly-fil from old bed pillows and then sew it back up, fast and easy. Could sew 2 together, the possibilities are endless. I love them, great job! My favorite is the skirt.
I actually love the clean-shaven face! So there you go, two completely different opinions. Your hair stands out without the mustache./ The leather pillow for a neutral look or the aqua pillow for Beautiful color and contrast to the black.
I love the rich colour of the corduroy one on your bed. I can imaging a beautiful throw at the foot of the bed. All of the pillows are great and you should use them all somewhere in your home for sure.
@@REISSUED hmmm I guess that depends upon the direction that you want to go. Black and white graphic reminiscent of the Escher inspired work that you have done? Or the tones from your rug but in a different scale? I look forward to seeing what you find and bring together. I love how you reimagine your spaces.
Great choices for color, and good job on the pillows. I couldn’t really see the quilting on the blue pillow, though. The only other thing is that I think you should have used the stuffing from your mom’s pillow inserts to make new pillow inserts, because that lumpiness is going to be a perpetual problem. Btw, I love the fact that you take on projects you learn how to do more or less as you go.
My favourite handyman. Also dressing for the occasion. wearing leather while working on a leather cushion. Like the creatvity you show with decorating your home. (and no eye/role here...)
They all look good. My favorite one is the rusty red. I have a pillow form and fabric sitting on my dining room table and need to get going with sewing on it. Thanks for the motivation.
Love all 3, but my vote is for the corduroy. The leather looks great, but the size isn’t quite perfect. The blue is so pretty with the added stitch detail, but seems somehow delicate next to the other colors. The corduroy is stunning, adds dimension and color in the right tone. I love the idea someone else commented of changing them out with the seasons. They’re all too good to shove in a closet!
Agreed Lisa. The blue is pretty but just doesn’t melt with the other shades in the room the way the rust does… I think the color and texture of the rust is exactly what the room needed! Thanks for weighing in ❤️
Andrew all three look great, why not rotate them sesonally,to add different accents for each season. All three colours look good on the bed,but personally I like the aqua velvet as a pop of colour in the bedroom. But rotating them feels like the way to go. (matt)
I love the corduroy one the best, but I would switch between that one and the blue one as the mood strikes, it's such an easy way to change out the room
I’d love to see in real life as I think they’d look so much more then the camera is picking up. You heart has already given you your answer and I’m wondering if it relates to what your doing in your bathroom. Can’t wait to see all as it evolves.
Red, leather, blue, in that order. However, it would really help to see the colors in the rug as this might change the order of preference. All three pillows are great! And sewing tension: that is a whole other video!
I vote red corduroy! It seemed to give everything a warm glow. Warmed up the headboard, the bed frame and the yellow strips in the curtain. The others were well done, but the leather blended and the blue felt a bit cool. Maybe you want cool tones? The corduroy made it warm without feeling cutesy cozy.
I love them all! They all came out beautifully. Make sure to use them all somewhere in your home. But I’m torn on which one for the bedroom. Blue or orange. I’m leaning toward blue because your process was amazing. But I think bringing in that blue opens loads of opportunities
My favorite wasn’t the rust color, however all three looked great and again I learned something from your video, cutting the ends off the corners! Now I have to go make a new pillow!! 😊
For me it's a toss up between the rusty red and the blue. I would rotate them seasonally. The leather one may be great in the living room, but I didn't think it worked well on the bed. I am inspired to go make a throw pillow! Thank you!
The rust corduroy one is my favorite for. Several reasons. The size is great, the color and texture awesome, and the corners aren’t so sharp as the other two. I do like the other two, but I would suggest rounding the corners a bit. The blue one is a good size, but the corners make it look like you’re sleeping with a shark. The leather one especially needs the corners softened up. Also, it’s not the right size on its own. Maybe it would work well on the bed if it were layered with one of the other two. Love your creativity. ❤
I love your process, you are a complicator in the best sort of way 😂 I like all three pillows, but prefer the dimensions of the longer/narrower pillows better, and really love the rust skirt. The light blue design is genius though! I agree with other commenters that you can use them all. Great job! #rustwinsthough
I always look for sweaters at the Goodwill with the intention of turning them into pillows....got a bunch, need to get around to completing these projects.
The rusty red is my favorite! However, why not use them all and rotate them out seasonally? The right faux fur might make a good 4th option for a "winter" looking pillow.
I didn’t know you could return stuff at goodwill. They never let me before. You can find really inexpensive pillows at Home Goods and they are really nice. I love the ones you made though. The skirt pillow looks great in your room
The orange. I like the other two as well. Maybe you can use them somewhere else? You need more subscribers. How do we get Paige Wassel or Carolyn Winkler to take a look at your stuff??
Beautiful! Think I like the rust the best as it warms up the space, but the other two are lovely. Can you use the camel leather one on your sofa in the workroom/office? I’m also sure you can find a place for the blue one. Or just switch them up for a change!
Love all three of them, but if i must pick one of them it would the leather one witch fit with the leather headboard, than the blue one and the red...but like asaid love all three so i am not much as a help....nice video and love your creativity !
Hi Andrew! Fun project. My favorite color is the Rust Corduroy. What does Queenie like best? Will the Moustache make a return soon? Have a great weekend.
Was thinking using 2 legs from the corduroy pants- maybe 2 pairs of different but coordinating fabric might be the right sizing/circumference for a lumbar pillow…

Haha yes I had to shave for my last dance role… not a lead… but still had to look younger. I’m keeping it shaved through my vacation in Italy, but will probably bring it back after!
Blue for spring and summer, rusty red for fall and leather for winter. All 3 are great so why not use them all and rotate them for an update with the seasons. Love your DIY skills!
This 👏
Yes!
Totally agree.
Use the rusty orange in fall, the blue in summer, and the leather in winter.
The rusty orange one for sure. It truly adds something. Great job on poking out the corners on all the pillows. Details like that are what separate the great sewists from the careless ones.
Thank you! Yes pushing out the corners all the way is crucial!
I think the leather one looks great but my favourite would be the corduroy one. It adds a bit of warmth against the wood of the bed, that the leather doesn't give, and with your rug. Whichever you choose will look fab! I like all three. Hairless face is fabulous. Thank you for the ladder shot. (22:07)
All three are great - you did a really nice job. I like the orange corduroy the best and how it picks up some of the color in your rug.
Entertaining as always - handsome clean shaven look too!
Hi from Belgium, the blue pops out the best, the red is like the rest of your room👏👏👏
First, they all came out really well. I lean towards the blue, then the rust.
before i've even finished watching, i must say it's so satisfying to see your studio actually get used. i find that it's so easy to "organize" or make things look pretty but to end up never actually using a space, but to see it in action serving you, that's the ultimate.

Yeah I’m loving my studio! I’m ready to finish up that space and do a bit more organizing/decluttering since stuff has been piling up a bit in there… but it’s a joy to work in that space ❤️
All three excellent! Love the aqua with the stitching though.. I need to sew again....But the the genius is taking a skirt and making a pillow. Bravo!
Love the rust coloured cord pillow best, closely followed by the blue one. But they all look great! You are so talented! 🙌
Orange for the win 🎉🎉🎉
They are all so beautiful but I think the rust corduroy looks best
Great job on all three pillows. The quilting detail and color of the blue pillow win my vote. The room is coming together nicely!
The red looks rich but at first sight the blue looked best and being an overthinker I have to remind myself to not second guess! Go with the very first thing that catches your eye. the red definitely works, but the blue is the one you want to use when the most important person is coming to visit
they all look great Andrew, but I think I like the blue the best.
So hard to choose! I really love the pattern and texture on the corduroy.

I like The blue one best! It turned out great! I would get a feather insert instead of the batting, makes a more luxurious pillow.
Watching you is like watching myself 😂 down to the removing the lumps from pillows and thread tension problems! Oh and getting some fabrics off the hanging curtains 😂 and a terrific fabric stashes around the house😂
I really like all of them! Especially the attention to detail in them. I’m partial to the corduroy pillow. But they all work well and definitely should keep the other two you don’t choose to switch in at other times if you ever want to change it up occasionally.

I like the rusty corduroy the best. The scale of that one and the aqua one are perfect. 👍🏼
Andrew did it, once again! ❤❤❤❤❤ What an eye for design and style and so much creativity.

What a talented young man.
The one to watch for 2024!
Definitely
Aw thank you so much ❤️
Aww this young man’s mum must be so proud .
Blue of course ,Calming.

Yes I love the 36” size! Really fills the bed nicely and is a good shape to relax against while working at home!

I love them but, the turquoise one pops...well done!!!
I always paint my bedroom walls orange, because I find it the most comforting, warm color, so my vote is for the orange. All three look great, and if you made shams your could swap out for the seasons, that’d be a good option too.

Thanks Jennifer! Agreed about the throw… what color do you think for the throw if I go with the rust pillow?
@@REISSUED hmmm I guess that depends upon the direction that you want to go. Black and white graphic reminiscent of the Escher inspired work that you have done? Or the tones from your rug but in a different scale? I look forward to seeing what you find and bring together. I love how you reimagine your spaces.
I like the texture of the leather & the color pop of the aqua.
All three are great! Personally I love the texture of the leather!
Who's that good lookin mustacheless dude?!! Without it you don't have to worry about making gobs and gobs of throw pillows!!!😉
Yeah the lumpiness is not ideal… but I think it’ll be ok for what I need.
They all turned out nice, but I think the aqua is the winner. The reason for the pillow is to add color, aqua does that.
Definitely the leather. Warm/brown tones are my idea of the perfect aesthetic/look.
I love all three, and as someone mentioned use them for different seasons. Great idea using clothes from Goodwill
Good luck with your pillow! You got this!
I love them all!
Definitely would be switching them out seasonally.
I do like the corduroy the best. The color is very warm compared to the others.
Corduroy. Nice work!

The burnt orange is the perfect shade for your bedroom. It's my preferred choice (but I also like the blue).
Agreed! Thanks Tracy!
Looks so good all of them👌In the room I like the rusty red best.
Love them all, but the Rusty’s orange really pops!
Switch them out for season, but aqua my favorite. Awesome job
Andrew all three look great, why not rotate them sesonally,to add different accents for each season. All three colours look good on the bed,but personally I like the aqua velvet as a pop of colour in the bedroom. But rotating them feels like the way to go. (matt)

I like all three and others have mentioned rotating them out! Great work!
I love the corduroy one the best, but I would switch between that one and the blue one as the mood strikes, it's such an easy way to change out the room
I love down pillows. I use lightweight canvas and then line it. I use fabric dyes. Then fill with down. Firm but soft. Love them!!
I’d love to see in real life as I think they’d look so much more then the camera is picking up. You heart has already given you your answer and I’m wondering if it relates to what your doing in your bathroom. Can’t wait to see all as it evolves.
Yeah it was tough to capture them on camera as they appear in real life!
The blue one would be the most comfortable, but the leather one looks the best in the room. It’s a stand out piece.
Red, leather, blue, in that order. However, it would really help to see the colors in the rug as this might change the order of preference. All three pillows are great! And sewing tension: that is a whole other video!
Great point! I should have included more of the rug in this video!
Was glad to see queeie 😊😊
The corduroy looks best. Great video.
I love burnt orange so much
They are all nice but the rusty red is my fav
I vote red corduroy! It seemed to give everything a warm glow. Warmed up the headboard, the bed frame and the yellow strips in the curtain. The others were well done, but the leather blended and the blue felt a bit cool. Maybe you want cool tones? The corduroy made it warm without feeling cutesy cozy.
Oh, and the dimensions of the blue and rust were spot on - looked so good!
LOVE the leather pillow! (They are ALL wonderful though!)
Love the orange!
You look better without the moustache
They all look good Use the three of them change every now and then so you can change the color when you get tired of the same look ….
yay for halcyon! love the look of these, great job!
For me it's a toss up between the rusty red and the blue. I would rotate them seasonally. The leather one may be great in the living room, but I didn't think it worked well on the bed. I am inspired to go make a throw pillow! Thank you!
They are all nice
Love the cord and even more the leather! 😊❤
My sewing machine would b*tch around about it!! 😂
All three look good but I think the aqua velvet looks best on the bed.
I love your process, you are a complicator in the best sort of way 😂 I like all three pillows, but prefer the dimensions of the longer/narrower pillows better, and really love the rust skirt. The light blue design is genius though! I agree with other commenters that you can use them all. Great job! #rustwinsthough
I agree that the rust is the winner! Thank you for your thoughts! ❤️
I love them all!
Love the blue
I like them all together. Make a pillow that uses all 3 fabrics?
I like the leather one the best :)
I always look for sweaters at the Goodwill with the intention of turning them into pillows....got a bunch, need to get around to completing these projects.
I love that idea!
The rusty red is my favorite! However, why not use them all and rotate them out seasonally? The right faux fur might make a good 4th option for a "winter" looking pillow.
They all look great! ❤😊
Beautiful work
Buy yourself a walking foot for your sewing machine, it’ll make sewing thicker layers much easier.
Love the red corduroy
so craftful!
I didn’t know you could return stuff at goodwill. They never let me before. You can find really inexpensive pillows at Home Goods and they are really nice. I love the ones you made though. The skirt pillow looks great in your room
Paprika corduroy gets my vote. But they’re all nice.
I agree! Definitely gonna try the leather in the studio 🙌🏻
Rusty red for sure
The leather looks a bit stiff to me. But I've always had corduroy lust, so that's my pick. Cheers.
The leather 💯
Love all three of them, but if i must pick one of them it would the leather one witch fit with the leather headboard, than the blue one and the red...but like asaid love all three so i am not much as a help....nice video and love your creativity !
Hi Andrew! Fun project. My favorite color is the Rust Corduroy. What does Queenie like best? Will the Moustache make a return soon? Have a great weekend.
Was thinking using 2 legs from the corduroy pants- maybe 2 pairs of different but coordinating fabric might be the right sizing/circumference for a lumbar pillow…
I totally identify with the always learning something new sentiment, but that’s the fun right? like the red corduroy best. The leather is beautiful but it the shape isn’t quite right.
I miss your mustache...😢😢😢😢😢🇪🇸🇮🇨
Yes, he looks 19 without the tache.
But maybe he needed a clean-shaven look for the lead in a ballet?
Young heroes usually don't have any facial hair, only the villains do. Maybe he had to perform a role of young Prince?
Andrew's talent is multifaceted
Haha yes I had to shave for my last dance role… not a lead… but still had to look younger. I’m keeping it shaved through my vacation in Italy, but will probably bring it back after!
