We did legally blonde in my college and honestly it was so good and looked acc professional (we spent so much on the show and it was worth it) and our Elle was insane and was insane every single night! Our Emmett was also insane and did the iconic little dance in chip on your shoulder. My god I remember how many quick changes we all had. My quickest was what 10 seconds. Such a good show to do but god it takes it out of you
The director perfectly adds in the flag joke at this moment to give LBB just enough time that she needs to catch her breath. Still such a feat for her to get her breath back that quickly, I just love that little touch.

There are some stories that get translated into musical form and it's definitely fun but a little bit of a stretch, then there's stories that it feels like were MADE to be over-the-top musicals despite not starting out that way. Legally Blonde is like the modern poster child for the latter group.
