Took a while, testing for adrenaline was hard, since you had to teleport across the map, spawn Queen Bee, teleport back, wait for her to reach you, in order to gain enough time to build the adrenaline.
I'm not sure why the Flamesteed Ring visuals are bugged when combined with the Odd Mushroom, it's like showing you the entire animation sheet or something. I'm not a fan of the Flamesteed Ring honestly, the movement is too janky, but hey at least it deals absurd damage huh?
I didn't test this on Supreme Calamitas because it takes a long time, Scal likes her bullet hells, so it goes from being a damage showcaser to just waiting out the bullet hells. I thought you might be able to skip past her bullet hells if you maybe blast her with adrenaline, but it didn't work out for me.
Looking back, I should've tested more Infernum bosses for sure, instead of only Infernum Devourer of Gods, I should've tried Infernum Yharon, Infernum Exo-Mechs, Infernum Primordial Wyrm maybe? I couldn't spawn the regular Death Mode Primordial Wyrm for some reason. My game has been suffering ever since the new update dropped.
These tests were done in Death mode, for the sake of more health I suppose, doing revengeance Calamity would've been just melting the bosses faster, even with Death Mode, the bosses died too quickly. Looking back, I should've used the 10x boss HP modifier...

Don’t forget if you’re playing on infernum and you beat night providence she drops the the lunar coin which crafts the ridiculous PURITY accessory which give plus 30% damage and attack speed 🔥 awesome video.
That's smart! I actually considered using that but ultimately decided to not include infernum items into the mix :p

1 thing to note, i belive that for single target dps the 2nd form of endogenesis would be the best, since the projectiles are really good for dps, obviusly it depends on what you are fighting, and i belive that the angelic alliance would take your dps even higher, if you have 3 differant minions fill the slots of the mirror of kalandra.
If you had used the war table, you could have added another lunar portal for just a little more damage

You know something is busted when an extra 30k dps is considered insignificant
One thing to increase damage, the Flamsteed Ring mech is influenced by whatever weapon your hovering over on your hotbar and there just so happens to be a weapon that always crits called the Titan Arm

Demonshade Enrage stacks multiplicatively with accessory and potion buffs, and rage/adrenaline also stack multiplicatively.

Very theoretical and probably is a dumb idea, but if the alcohol is decreasing your hp, then wouldn't the thing that gives 20% extra dmg when you are
I believe you're talking about the Necklace of Vexation, and you'd be right! That would've been an additional 5% damage, but doing the tests without god mode just made it extremely frustrating to do, which made me wanna stop the video all together, so I decided all the frustration wasn't worth a tiny 5% Damage :p
If you're talking about the Sepulcher scal spawn, that didn't work out too well. When testing the DPS, the minions would stop attacking the dummies and shift their attention to the spawned hearts.
I actually read on the wiki that Adrenaline and Rage are multiplicative, but honestly that's just not what it seemed like with the DPS tests at all. The damage boost from rage/adrenaline didn't seem to triple/quadruple the damage, I'm not sure why. Maybe there's a limit, maybe it's multiplicative to a certain extent, so I didn't wanna write a misleading damage stat, yknow.

Makes me wonder if it have anything to do with terraria's dps test on dummy bug, in which the dps would be negative if you do too much dmg
Dimensional soul and the enrage from demonshade are also multiplicative. It's fairly clear from where the pre potions math adds up to 430% DMG, but the actual DMG is closer to 10x the base.
This DPS can further be increased to +∞% with enough grinding with the Shattered Community, this may take decades of grinding but the Raw Damage does not lie
easiest way to cap the shattered community rage damage is stacking a ton of super dummies on top of each other and absolutely blasting them all while in rage.

According to the wiki the mech cant consume rogue stealth but still benefits from it so the eclipse mirror makes this really strong

I haven't played in a while so this may have been patched but if you used luxors gift with the universe splitter you can create the strongest summon in the entire game by miles. I was able to hit 1.6 mill dps with that (along w other weapons) just with normal items. if combined w this idek what kind of dps it would do

ive managed to get around 1m dps with bury the light’s ability/~700k dps without ability (yeah its not a official calamity weapon but who cares), half of my talis reforget to menacing, rage mode (maxed shattered comunity), malice mod (hunt of the old god mode, basically goozma), enrage from demonshade, various potion buffs.
with this setup, even with the defence nerf, i managed to get really good dps but with great survivability

I'm pretty sure the +245% damage from Adrenaline is multiplicative with all the damage boosts.
I also read that on the wiki, but that just didn't seem to be reflected on the DPS, so maybe there's a limit? I'm not really sure, so I didn't wanna be misleading and put an inflated number.

you cold of used a summoning potion and a bewitching table to slightly increase your dps with more minions
I did use those actually, I just didn't include them in the edit, I wanted the things in the edit to be only about raw damage

i'm kinda sad that the most cool and weapons to use are 90% into late game when there is nothing to do anymore lol even if they add yharim that would be only one thing to do and in a way there is too much quantity over quality, at least for most of the weapons, also draedon labs weapons beside idk, the gatling laser, the others are not that good to me
Yeah, it would be nice if some of these had more purpose
there's plenty of cool weapons throughout the mod, including stuff that doesn't gave an endgame equivalent/upgrade (like the shpc); the only reason the endgame stuff seems "cooler" is because they're supposed to be a sort of reward for beating the (current) final bosses
does make me wonder how dev tier items will be balanced when yharim and the superbosses are added tho, if at all, and what the weapons those bosses drop will be like
