As a Preterist, I used to believe that Satan, whoever and whatever it, or he was, was dead after 70AD. I didn’t have too much problems with that as a preterist because I was under the impression that we are not under the direct influence of Satan, one way or another. That is, whether there is an eternal, conscious punishment that Satan was in or annihilationism. Now, I have gotten out of those weeds with the realization that satan isn’t a proper noun supernatural individual bad guy. Great work on this study and series, Patty!
