I have this same exact car. It takes 5W20. I saw this guy used 5W30. 🤔 I use Royal Purple HMX 5W20 in my Mazda and I highly recommend it. Found this video while trying to find reviews about the Fram oil filter.

Make sure you use the proper weight of oil for your car. I have a 2006 mazda 6 2.3L and it calls for 5w20 not 5w30 as used in this video. Good job on the video otherwise.
shilo pankiw Although 5W-20 is the recommended oil grade, the owner's manual does clearly say if 5W-20 is not available in your area, 5W-30 is an acceptable substitute.
