Finally you give Peni a shot! Love to see it. She's not the meta compared to Strange or Magneto but she's able to do work if you play her correctly. If you want to see GM play of her then look up CringeAlarm. You wanted tips and I'm happy to share what I know even though I'm not a high level player but I do have the most play time on her. Her playstyle reminds me of a mix between Torvald (backline defense/anti flank) and Barik (set up and hold area). The nest is her core and you want to play in it when you can. Set it up in an odd angle so enemies have to push in to see it then you body block what you can to keep your spiders alive. If I remember correctly, the spiders do 30 dmg and the mines do 100 dmg. The spider and mine count is pretty high too. I think you can get have up to 15 of each out at any one time. The nest can also be used to help your healers if you leave it in the back and they play on the web. A nest with max spiders will delete any flank that steps on it. If you didn't know, the web hides mines so throw down 3 in choke points (either on the floor or doorway) to get a free kill. While shooting, also spam your mine button. You will get so much free damage. The right click can also eat a lot of projectiles even ults like Magneto and Iron man. Last tip I have is her ult. Always start ult in your nest and spam both mouse buttons. The ult draws webbing on the ground and your spiders will follow the web at any range so use your ult to lead the spiders to a target. You can easily get 25-30k dmg with her in a match.
