Seak the Rando GOD indeed. That was such a crazy moment to witness live 1:47:25 - 1:49:15
If Stadium 2 is anything at all like Stadium 1, the rental pokemon have really bad DVs and Stat Experience. In 1, a pokemon like Zapdos has DVs of 2,2,2,2,2,3 and something like 13000 stat exp. Meanwhile, CPU pokemon have very high DVs and maxed stat exp. That's why Hitmonchan was outspeeding Zapdos.

Odds on 8 coin flips the same in a row is .391% That is some broken RNG.

For those seeing RNG at its finest, there are two timestamps.
First one is Keizaron getting the 2 for 2 Guillotine luck at 1:08:57, a 9% chance to successfully get both.
Then later on, Keiz getting the absolute worst luck is at 1:46:50
Three Horn Drills in a row and to make it worse, Thunder missed. All 30% chances (hit on Horn Drill, miss on Thunder) which is less than a 1% odds chance of that happening.
Add in a further... I think 6/10 total hits for Horn Drill, and that's just... the most absurd RNG on Keiz's screen. Unfortunately, mostly against him, haha

Personally I feel Stadium 2 needs either a double feature (johto half and Kanto half of the gym castle rental rando) or have a day with double or more the usual allotted time for a full castle run attempt from the beginning. Otherwise perhaps the races could be in sets of 4/5 gyms each since johto side has the rocket invasion on top of the 8 gyms and elite 4 + champ matches
Welcome to the "wonderful" world of Stadium 2 speedrunning, where Rentals are so trash that Counter/Mirror Coat, Destiny Bond and Explosion are the only reason this game is remotely beatable, provided RNGeesus isn't feeling capricious that day.

Ok, just want to say - absolutely against this new naming scheme, I watch GDQ only for TFS and the full shows, so making it far harder to find TFS in the first place and even know what the video's about is a terrible choice, even as an attempted clickbait - as reflected by the view count drops since you started doing it.
I genuinely thought TFS had just abruptly stopped until I checked the playlist.
I have to agree. This makes it harder to find shows that people enjoy, like if someone just watches for TFS or Random Number Generation.

At least they make sure to have the series name and the game name somewhat prominently in the thumbnails of all of these. Not so much some of the others.
Agreed! Not saying the name of the game nor the name of the show in the title is nuts! The thumbnails sometimes don't even show game footage, and may include the game's title logo, but are sometimes so small that you can't even see them when scrolling. I missed a great Yoshi's Island run for days before I realized because it was titled Mario & Yoshi's Eggcellent Adventure or something like that...
Having both of their game audio going at once is kind of disorienting, at least, when it comes to the music. Usually it's one or the other. Thankfully it gets fixed pretty early.

For goodness sake, update your emulator Keizaron. It's 2023, those graphical bugs have been fixed for ages
