I'm in Cali I paid 700 and we're only allowed 10 round mags so I just bought 3 more so I have 5 mags..I put over 3000 rounds through it since January of this years and not one malfunction.. It's very reliable..
The SD9 and SD40 are great deals when priced under $350. Not so much at $400+. I have the SD40 (non-VE) with black slide and factory fiberoptic sights. I upgraded the trigger and springs with the Apex kit and threw on a Talon Grip. It's a solid gun that I'd trust my life to. My main home defense pistol is a Shadow Systems MR920 combat. It has the the upgrades I would've done to a Glock 19.
@@godsson1603 I get that .that happened to me when I first moved to VA...there was this gun shop called Dawson's and they were extremely expensive..I didn't know much about gun prices at the time and I paid $425 for a sigma sw40ve...then find out it was $250 tops new in other places smh

@@rebel9channel well I mirror polished it. So I’ve been looking for a holster for the Sd9ve with a light that won’t scratch it. If you have any info please. Appreciate the help man
@@Silent-dee1 I recommend to watch someone do it first. Takes time and if you don’t have the time then I recommend not to do unless you have a back up. And just polish the slide. Not the barrel. I mean I did mine and it’s fine but they told me not to do it cuz when you polish it. It shaves down metal basically it takes layers of metal till you see the polish mirror or until you are satisfied. I used metal polish cream. It’s in like a small container and the liquid is blue. When you polish it don’t worry about the liquid getting in the cracks of the the slide. You can always use gun cleaner and spray it out. I'm in Cali and we are only allowed 10 round mags and mine cost 700 so I'm thinking glocks cost a few more hundreds but I never checked.. In case you missed my other reply to you: I live in Cali too and it is running $440 at bass pro in Rancho Cucamonga. A brand new glock 17 woulda ran you about $548 after taxes. Also...just have like 4 total 10 round mags but go over to Nevada and just buy max and normal capcity mags there, seriously. F**k Gavin Newsom and Bonta. Don't comply with traitor p*ssies like that. Just don't go back same day and the scouts won't get you. Order like 4-6 mags and then pick em up and stay in Vegas for a few days and have fun
Matter of fact I even buy my ammo in nevada. I try to do most of my shopping for the year there so California doesn't get sales tax from me. I don't support oppression like that. I'm leaving the state for good soon. F**k Cali this place sucks to be a free person in
AT ALL??? yes... will they function? No. I cant remember which upper fit which lower better. The front spring mount is a different size so they dont interchange well (but it can fit) and the barrel drops right in but I wouldnt even any anything beyond assembling.
I beat on mine and it's cracked, dented, finish is worn but I gotta say it's still 100% functional .. eats every type of 9mm except for those Inceptor style ammo ..

Been a Glock owner since 1990, have seen frame rails snap off on the Glock not so with the SD9VE and the SD9VE is much cheaper.
As far as which one would you choose " most people will go with the better shooting gun "
