    Beautiful job. But just a question? When the guard was installed why didn’t you 50/50 solder instead of epoxy, or was the tension fit sufficient .

    Hi John, I am fairly knew to your channel and am also learning the casting process. Since the Alumilite failed you what other product have you tried or what else will you tried? You are putting out some great info out for us that are new to the blacksmithing trade

      Hey man, first of all thanks for watching and I'm glad you are enjoying the videos.
      I am still researching which one to use but it looks like a deep casting marine resin is likely what I'm going to try.

    Your buffing wheel could use the on/off switch being relocated, its a bit dangerous tucked in the side.

    Hey brother. Nice knife. I too like to cast or make my in scales. I just bought the total boat table top epoxy. I have not ground it yet. What resin failed for you?
