DJ Moving Head LED replacement

- Both of my moving heads decided to die about the same time, I figured that the LED’s stopped working. I tested the power being supplied to them and it was 24 volts. The heads say that they are 30 watt, but I could not find a match in the world. I did however find a chip that was 24v 60w so I decided to go that route. I had nothing to lose. Watch my video to see the process of breaking down the moving head to get to the light housing and heat sink. I ordered some heat sink grease. The LED’s look very different from each other. I had to modify the chip to get it to install to the heat sink. Everything went like clock work. I was very surprised that the new LED produce very little heat, but are very bright. I was so excited when they turned on for the first time after the repair. I ran these for quite a while to see if they would fail, but instead they operate very well. I am glad that I took the time to figure it out.

Hello, I have 4 of these moving heads that I have bought from aliexpress, one of them dont work and I know the problem is in the board that controls the light, do any one know were to find a replecement board? good video, best regards.
Was your previous one is darker? Thinking of doing an update on a couple of mine too.
Edit: just read your description…what colour temperature is this one you replaced equivalent to. Well done.
Yes the original was darker. The new ones cast the light much further as well. Looks like the temp is 10,000-11,000
