I disagree with the Steelers comparison. I think the quickest way to return to a Super Bowl team is to get to the Steelers level faster, then take chances on a QB. Get as many quality position players as you can and raise the talent level of the whole team. Sign Justin Fields, maybe he hits, maybe he doesn't but if he doesn't and you move on in two years, you'll have a more solid team to put a new QB into.

The Giants could easily get the Bears game and win late because the other team is so bad offensively or are resting their starters. The Giants hanging on to their coach 3 years is long for the bottom 12-16 teams so every year there are a lot coaches getting fired. With this firing attitude you are running out of competent coaches, Nagy and if fired McCarthy are hot prospects for a reason.

Since 2014 only two QB taken with the 1st overall pick has won a Super Bowl. 1.) Peyton Manning not with this original team. 2.) Matthew stattford not with this original team. Forcing a QB with the first overall pick when their the 15-20 rated prospect in the draft is a bad move no matter what. If it works out and Sanders is a franchise Qb its per luck. Steelers are mid and always have been since 2008. Tomlin is just good enough to get the steelers into the playoffs but then lose in the first round.
