But I'm considered smart and old enough to watch both my Mets and the Jets in 1969. 60 yr Giants fan and can follow my sports as well as family (we go to a few games a year as a family) and life, while getting simple questions. The Mets were owned by the Madoff loving Wilpons making them less functional owners. The Tisch/Maras of my Gen were great owners. There is a point here....... Art Modell was a childhood friend of my dad's from Brooklyn. A pioneer of the NFL/Brooklyn.
Last weekend instead of watching the jets, I went out to dinner with my wife. It was such a better use of my time. I'll still watch other teams play on Sunday but I'm not wasting my time with woody johnson and his offspring

I quit watching thursday night football, sunday night football and monday night football unless the jets play. Quit fantasy football and it's so much better.

NFL entirely has been terrible. Players asked for more money and more off season layoffs. Look how bad this year has been. The I.Q on the field has been supported by the NFL rules. Half this league couldn’t be starters 10-15 years ago. “The Speed of the game is an illusion benefiting of the rules”. Soft generation period. The turf is ruining NFL careers or the lack of training.
To answer your question what do these smart people do on their Sundays…. If they were in a place like Denver or Green Bay, they could go grocery shopping on Sundays because there will be no one in the stores.
I can proudly say I have NEVER watched Jeopardy, therefore ur focus on a completely irrelevant question is a waste of ur breath so far as I am concerned….however ur unending pain as a Jets fan is so comforting & entertaining. No matter how bad my day watching u or the New York Jokes or that idiot on Unkillable always puts a smile on my cynical 71 yr old Patriots loving face. Trust me, general sports watchers DO make fun of everyone. There has not been a single year in the last 20 where the browns weren’t mercilessly eviscerated. You don’t think lions, Bears and Vikings fans never had to put up with how much of a failure they’ve been compared to the packers?
