Love our TRD Sport in Magnetic Grey! We got the 4WD version. We wanted a solid road trip vehicle that would last for years to come. I liked that it looked different from all of the 4runner mall crawlers I see cruising around. The color matched trim gives it a custom look. But don't let the trim and 20s fool you, we tested its off road capability and it handled impressively despite being more geared for the road.

I'm laughing at everyone upset that it's only a accessories and badge refresh.
The 4.0 could stay but add a 6-8 Speed transmission. Why replace what's not broke?
Toyota Knows what they're doing even if it's not when you personally want to see the change. This is coming from someone that owns a 3rd,4th and 5th gen 4runner and have owned 16 Toyotas.
I'd rather them wait another year then rush the refresh. Used 4runners are still selling for the price of new ones if you can find one. I wouldn't be rushing out a new body style either if it's still selling out.

  • @huynhmichael1989

Yall really missed the mark on this one, could of added the TDP Pro grille with all the features on a limited. add TRD pro intake and exhaust to top it off and you'd have aLOT of buyers on your hand. This trim is worthless.

No, this is a city wanting to be luxurious suv. The other one is Olán off-roader. They don’t add the luxury from this one to the trd pro and they don’t add the off roading to this one

Toyota, really?? Like seriously really??? Y’all could have released a new generation rather then this here. I want to meet the genius who thought it would be a great idea to take the hood off a TRD pro and smack it on a limited then name it the TRD SPORT. Safe to assume it’s starting price will be around 54k 🤦🏽‍♂️

Past few years, toyota has been playing bingo and letting the RNG decide what the next TotAlLy NeW 4runner will be lol. C'mon now, the 4runner has been the same for over a decade. Few cosmetic changes, but it's been the SAME. WHERE IS THE 6TN GENS ALREADY.

    1st gen: 5 years (84-89)
    2nd gen: 5 years (90-95)
    best gen: 6 years (96-02)
    4th gen: 6 years (03-09)
    5th gen: 12+ years?! (10+)
ford dropped the f150 lightning, bronco, and the bronco sport
    GM dropped the EV hummer
Land rover dropped the new discovery
    Jeep dropped the V8 wrangler
toyota needs to catch this off-road vehicle wave!
don't get me wrong, I'm a huge T4R fanboy, but I definitely think it's time for a new gen... not just colors or trim levels
