Halfway into SL's inning, I was like why is this a thriller match? 24 runs in 60 balls with 8 wickets?! It's over! But then, everything changed. What a match!

I remember when Sri Lanka needed 24 odd with 8 wickets in hand, I along with my family, fully dejected, left the house of dinner to lift the mood. Remember reaching the restaurant and dishearteningly switching on the Radio to see by how much we had lost but viola, Razzaq's magic had worked. Golden Memories.

@@owais1665 Not everytime but yeah there was always a chance. Also you have to see that pitches are mostly belters now. I do agree that our batting averages and rates hasn't improved as much as others because of which the difference seems more apparent now.

This is the match i was unable to watch after 35 overs during sri Lanka batting due to emergency travel. But when I watch next day highlights I was unbelievable. Hope pak won that series.

Srilanka had become one of the better teams after 1995. A world cup winning team and they never looked back. Aravinda, kaluwitharana, Ranatunga, jaysuriya, Vaas, muralitharan. Exceptional fielding, good bowling and very aggressive batting lineup. But Pakistan had the best combination of everything. Wasim, waqar and shoaib akhtar. Saeed Anwar, inzamam and Yousuf, moin khan, saqlain. All were match winners

A day and the night i remember very well when sri lanka was playing very well and i was watching with mute on tv to not disturb my brothers who were in deep sleep and then i slept infront of tv and find myself in bed when i wake up early in the morning for school but still couldnt waite for result that which team has been on winning side as i believed that sri lanka diffenetly would won the match but when i reached to school gate my friends/schoolmate were keep asking me did you watch match?it was absoloutly treat to watch such a match etc etc etc but i was asking them please let me know what happened who won the match ? And then i heard that match was draw but pakistani team played absoloutly champion.cricket was at its best time.childhood memories never die.
