The thing that this sounds more acoustic than the final "acoustic version" says a lot.... I have listen to Portugal the man acoustic songs and they are there in a room playing their instruments and you can tell the differences in the voice and how he and the group adapts and can pull it out, is like a live concert but relaxed. For example Ado is another one that i would say her concerts are even more awesome than the studio version because of her voice. The final version of this song is just a washing of everything that makes this song feels "human" those imperfections are great it fills a song with another flavour, the acoustic, real and raw flavour of a singer just like Ado. But instead of keeping those in the final song they erased them....
