Hi sir, I have an anterior pelvic tilt. When I walk, people tell me that I walk like a gay, but I am not gay. Can this difficulty in walking occur because of Anterior pelvic tilt? Is this Because my abdominal muscles are weak??
Ok i have a question for you. My 14 yr old son, recently he spent 8.5 months in a behavioral facility, I dont know if i just didnt notice it, because I'd become accustomed to seeing it all the time or what ..I dont know how i would have missed it though to be honest. But I noticed that when he stands he keeps BOTH legs bent at the knee. And his shoulders are slumped foward and down with his arms hanging kind of bowed out from his body widest at the elbow and then back in...just heavy like...much like a gorilla does. He's always kinda dragged his feet...which we've always stayed on him to pick his feet up when he walks. So he walks keeping his knees slightly bent, sort of leaning back from the waist, with shoulders slumped forward and down with arms heavily bowed out...dragging his feet but at the sametime each step is heavy and its the whole foot up and down FLAT on the floor. No toe 1st or heel 1st. Its whole leg, bent knee foot flat each step.
I cant find anything that addresses a gait like this. I brought this up to one of the staff at the facility, thinking ok they have psychologists, neurologist they work with...and he does have a neurolgist who diagnosed him with ADHD, frontal lobe deficit. He is about due for another appt with the neurologist. I also noticed (he come home a week ago) that his hands shake now. I looked up the medications hes on and that could very well be the cause of the shaking. I know that different gaits are associated with different neurological issues.
Have any ideas?
Patient needs to get assessment done by Pediatric Physiotherapist, who is Specialising in ADHD and Neurological conditions in the Young Kids.

@@JahoSelamaj I’m sorry to hear this. You may want to see a neurologist. I know the anxiety of confronting a serious disease but the sooner you know for sure, the better.
