As an old fan of RC i claim that this album is the weakest one... When i listened to it in 2019 i was quite frustrated that here are many dull riffs, texts and only solos can impress. "The Rituals" are much better than this.
well most of their stuff since Theogonia is oversimplistic and overpolished riffless tracks. There is not much of inspiration or effort. In the lyrics as weel. How many songs have the rhyme "pyre-fire" since 2006? :D Still admire Sakis for who he is and what he has done, but truth to be spoken, he hasn't written much interesting stuff imo, for over a decade now.
