I like this particular bass you are using for this video, bc the color of the neck makes it easier to see your fingering! Also your fingering on the 4-string bass is easier to see than on the 5-string. Great video! Thanks!
You really start to scare me when your eyes look back at that invisible chalkboard and have to think about something. To me that means I am about to be hit by an avalanche of complexity that I may never crawl out of.
Thanks for the video but this was very very difficult for me to follow as a beginner. Please consider doing a double stop for us novice :)> Thanks so much
I wouldn't say that double stops are beginner material to begin with, but let me see if I can come up with something novice friendly. Thanks for the request and thanks for watching!
You are indeed a fantastic teacher! Love all of the great exercises and drills. You really have it together. Thanks for being here!
Great video, you always talk about subjects most instructional bass playing videos ignore, and give great tips!
Great lesson Ari...
Love your presentation - and your great book!
Thank you Chris! Happy to hear!

Geez all the great stuff you cover! All your material is going to get me back into practicing. Thanks so much :-)

Very cool. Now just ahve to figure out how this can help me write Tool-esque basslines.
What kind of bass is that? I’m trying to decide on a 24 fret bass. Thanks!
BadAss!!

Yours must be the nicest collection of Marleaux basses in existence :-). Great lesson, too!
Haha, I doubt that, but I am a pretty lucky gal, must say :)
