    This video is AWESOME Balese thank you so much for making it! I have an Environmental Science degree, but I learned about California ecosystems because that's where I went to university - and it's truly fascinating to see Irish ecology through your eyes! Thank you for sharing!

      Thank you so much 💖 I'm glad it was enjoyable to someone who studied ecology in a different country!

    Going to Ireland soon and as I enjoy botany I checked on scholar how many endemic sp there are. I was surprised so see only 20 endemic strictly on Ireland! And about 150sp shared with UK.

    Does the removal of snakes refer to pagan religion as st. Patrick would have aided in the Extinction of Irish pagan practice? Good video btw I've learned a lot

    • @balese2950
      @balese2950  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yep! The "removal" of non-existent snakes was more of a symbolic thing, with snakes being tied to Satan and paganism cultures. St Patrick drove the Christian agenda and was used as a method to remove paganism in Ireland. It's quite interesting!
      Also thank you :3
