Im August fuhr ich mit einer Reisegruppe nach Paris. Von dort aus fuhr ich mit dem Zug und mit dem Bus nach Mont San Michel .Es war sehr beeindruckend und sehr schön. Ich besichtigte die Abtei und übernachtete auf dem Mont Saint-Michel. Am nächsten Tag besuchte ich eine Messe in Saint Pierre. Am späten Nachmittag fuhr ich mit dem Bus und dem Zug nach Paris und mit der Reisegruppe nach Hause.
In Ponterson bin ich vom Zug und Bus umgestiegen. Ich habe mir lange diese Reise gewünscht. Ich bin so glücklich, dass ich auf dem Mont Saint-Michel war. Ich war zwei Jahre in der Michael Schule in Frankfurt am Main. Dadurch habe ich eine gewisse Beziehung zum Erzengel Michael. Darum wollte ich unbedingt auf den Mont Saint-Michel
Hi, you take the train from Paris to Rennes, then take bus to Pontorson. No connecting train from Rennes to Pontorson in the morning ? is that why you take bus ? what bus company you are taking from ? But upon returning you seemed to book the train from Pontorson to Rennes which you missed. Is it because there is afternoon train to Rennes ? I plan to go next year, not sure which way is better ? @@lenyjanuarify nope! From Paris to Rennes we took the train. Rennes - Mont St Michel there is a direct bus. You will alight at the bus shuttle of Mont St. Michel. Going back to Paris we tried to ride the bus from Mont St. Michel to Pontorson and from Pontorson to Rennes (we missed) then Rennes to Paris (train) but since we missed the bus to Pontorsson it had a domino effect. Tagg made us re route to Col de Bretagne My suggestion: take tha train from Paris to Rennes and bus to Mont St. Michel (back and forth). They offer it at the bus ticket station in Rennes
@@LenLen-mj2vk there is a ticketing booth down stairs on the right before you go out of the Rennes train station. Before you leave the building going to the bus stop to Mont saint Michel. The lady there offered us if we want a back and forth bus ticket but we declined coz we did purchase a train ticket prior to our arrival . ( the one we missed)!

@@LenLen-mj2vk hi there! Yes, we booked all our train tickets online. Possibly you can book as early as possible coz the fare keeps on going up as the time goes by.
@@pyreflyontour wow thanks much for the reply! I am watching the video and mentioned that you missed the bus from pontorson to renns ? You mentioned that it usually have two schedules only. Can you share the schedule? So we will make sure that we will not missed it. We will be travelling with my 72years old mother in law so we need to make sure we can catch the bus to renns :) tks in advance
@@LenLen-mj2vk its on their website. My suggestion is if you want to do Pontorson to rennes train make sure not to missed the shuttle bus from Mont Saint Michel with the signage Pontorson. Because from mont St. Michel to Pontorson Train Station it is already a 30minute ride by car. I dont have the copy of their train schedule but you can check at their website for the dates and schedule. Coz I also heard that during Spring and Summer they have several trips in a day. But if you are too concerned NOT to missed any train schedule I better suggest that you buy the bus ticket from Rennes -Pontorson- Rennes (roundtrip) its cheaper than the train ticket.
Nope! And Pontorson is not as a busy station and always check the train schedule. If you ever you ride the train back to Paris from Pontorson you still need to change train line in Rennes. This is our mistake in going back to Paris. We missed the train from Pontorson to rennes. And there is no more train for that day.
@@pyreflyontour I see it must be the time of the year of availability of trains. I just booked train tickets for May 14 and its direct train with no changes to Pontorson. So maybe in winter its lesser trains available.

There were no direct trains from Pontorson to Paris?
Nope! And Pontorson is not as a busy station and always check the train schedule. If you ever you ride the train back to Paris from Pontorson you still need to change train line in Rennes.
