Nice video content! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you researched - Maanlijah Prefatory Method (probably on Google)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend Sam after many years got cool results with it.
I agree with the comments about Redwing boots. I thought about buying some for over 5 years. Every year I would need a new pair but never gave in to spending the $280 that they would cost me. Well I ended up buying a pair of the Redwind Chukka work boots, which aren't their most rugged boot by any means, but theyve already lasted me longer than every other brand besides Tony Lama. The real reasons I fell in love with them is #1, for the comfort. I go on walks with my girlfriend and don't need to bother changing into sneakers to do so. #2, I can take them into any of their stores to get them cleaned, conditioned, and have new laces put in for free whenever I want. The only problem I've ever had was when I broke off one of the eyelets for the laces. But the store reimbursed me in cash when I had them fixed by a very good shoe repair store down the street. I couldn't be happier with Redwing boots
I knew about the laces but didn’t know they cleaned and conditioned at Red Wing Looks like my Iron Rangers will be making a trip up to Red wing Do they need to be purchased from Red Wing directly for that? Thanks for the info

When I was a young man on a budget I used to buy wolverine and the soles went bad after a year. I decided to try timberland "pro". Three months in, i was doing a tile job a knelt down to start laying tile and the sole completely split at the ball of my foot. Ever since 2006 I've worn Redwings 2406 's and never had a problem. Well worth the money.
I went to timberland pro helix, and man they are comfortable and holding up. Cat can’t touch em. They broke in good in about 3 days of 8 hours shifts at a scrap yard. 180 also the timberland titan pro 6. Wolverine boot front toe started flapping after two days, took them back and they gave me trade in on the timberlands
Chippewa 25407. Not great if you stand on a concrete floor all day, but best (and toughest) field boot I've come across. Stiff as a wedding dick when new, they require a little break in time.
Yeah thats part of why I bought them, I'm up in maine and worked on a barge around cranes. Didn't want steal for obvious reasons, and yeah these are fairly warm for a boot you can wear in all weather.
In Malaysia, safety boot brand Black Hammer for me is the best, just cost around RM250 per pair, with waterproof, steel to, steel plate underneath and extra strong stitches around the shoe.
I use herman survivor boots, worn them for years, ive had a pair up to 6 1/2 years, heels are JUST starting to wear out. I like Hermans... And they are not hollow heeled.
Work on the railroad, was wearing timberland pros, and tried the keen Philadelphia. Night and day. Took some breaking in, but like walking on a cloud. The ballast doesnt come through at all. And the composite toes keep you warm, and won’t become toe shears like a steel toe might
More comfort equals less life. Less comfort equals more life. Also, nowdays, all the brands, on almost any product out there, have degraded their quality.
I'd like to send you a picture of mine after 5 months of working in a cooler 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week. But I'm convinced there's not a boot out there that won't take a shit on you in less then a year
Cat boot don't last in western Australia mining 3 different models in under 2 years +45c temp in the pit working on mobile gear. Cat make the best machines but there PPE not so much. 1 pair of Redwings last 2 years and you can get them repair.
Been wearing timberlands for about 10 years now working in all times of Scenarios and are by far the most comfortable boot to wearfor me. I havent tried red wings yet amd thinking of giving them a go but keep go back to the Tim’s. only thing I can say about them is I’ve worn them out pretty quick and the inner liner has come free mucking it a pain taking them off now with the new pair I have I use and show horn to put them on to help avoid that. Also having Quadruple E wide feet they’ve fit my foot the best so far with the soft leather. I’ve changed a lot of ppl at my work the switch and all haven’t picked another boot since.
I recently tried the Georgia Muddog boot at the potash production mine I work at and by far the best boot I’ve had working at the site. Constantly dealing with brine water and mud, salt, and constant climbing up and down stairs and ladders, these were extremely comfortable, Feet felt dry and warm even though I was working with water and in puddles. The mix of rubber around bottom part of the boot with a water proof leather top part of boot made them light weight and comfortable all day, and at 170 dollars well worth that price.
The Danner Vitals are amazing for land surveying. They’re snake proof, water resistant, ankle support with the 8”. Amazingly comfortable, and they last years if not almost a lifetime if you take care of them immediately after work as if you step into shin deep water. Also, 6-800 gram insulation. There’s a couple of hiker boots, made by Danner, that are for hiking, and those are the Skyridge series and the Mountain 600. Danners are not cheap. So, if you’re low on cash; I’d tell ya that Rock Rooster are next in line
All nice, but now we have to look them all up to see what they all cost. Wish you would have added this in your post. Thanks for sharing and have a nice safe day.
Concrete Finisher. I've tried the best Chippewa, red wing,Danner, wolverine and now because I caught them for $50 I'm gonna try timberland pro boondocks. But I have to say the most comfortable, rugged, stay dry boots I have owned thus far is Carhartt's I owned 2 pair back to back and got 3 1/2 years out of them together. I still have both pairs because they both have plenty of life left in them
I’m on concrete usually 10-12 hours a day , 5-6 days a week so for me it’s Danner Workman , Wolverine Durashocks , Magnums , Redwings , Timberland Pros , I currently have all these , I wear a different pair every day , I personally think that’s better than wearing the same pair every day , it’s just my personal opinion , but I’ve been doing it several years & don’t have any feet issues , years ago I wore cheap wal-Matt work boots , by the end of my shift my feet & legs would be hurting terrible , so I ask the guys I worked w/ what type of work boots they wore , they said Wolverine Durashocks , so I bought a pair & the very first day no more pain , good quality work boots are a must , my two cents worth
I bought those caterpillars second shift boots earlier in 2018 and I still have them.... stitching is still holding up very good no rips or tears. I een doing air conditioning installations so i have to climb ladders walk on roofs and crawl in attics. the boot has been extremely good but since i just got a new job i want to get new ones and i am considering sticking to caterpillar's as they are well worth it.
Yep. I had Cat. Felt great but the sole on both boots wore through to the lining within 6 months of working on mostly concrete and asphalt. Never again.
The best work boots ever made was red wing boots 20 to 40 years ago. The shoes and boots of that era was from a design that came from european shoe cobblers from a old school. These people knew how to make shoes. The boots was made on a platform not a cheap molding process that the shoe rests on today. One of the last examples left is the red wing 202 moc toe, notice the sole on this shoe. Not only this, most companies no longer offers narrow width boots. A lot of people are not aware of what width they should be wearing ! For years my brother and I was wearing E width shoes and found out we had B narrow width feet !
Loving loving this one thanks for sharing very information blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Can anyone suggest a good boot for Florida Pool Tech, has to have safety toe, gets wet in grass, mud, chemicals , glue, high heat and rainy summers. I need a boot that lasts!
Hello, I Work In Construction In The Worse Winter Weather In The Michigan Outdoors For 5 Days A Week 8-10 Hour Days. I REALLLYYY Need Some Nice Dependable Boots To Keep My Feet Warm, Any Suggestions ?
Thank you fellas! Watched this video because I was looking into them. Redwings always crap out in less than a year for me and I’m tired of it! Any recommendations on what might be the best choice?
@@patricklogston4031 it really depends on the work you do. I'd say either Super Rainforest, Acadia, or Quarry are probably the best you can buy from Danner.
Where did he say that I think I missed it, as someone who doesn’t have a car and has to walk 60+ miles a week just to get around being told it’s good for a mile or two is pathetic 😂
i find IRISH SETTERS are by far the most comfortable boots i own. The timberlands hurt the bottom of my feet..the soles arent so flexible. The Cats hurt the top of my feet..i think its the tongue and laces. But ALL these boots are 100% better than what we wore in the 80s or 90s.
Had 2 pair of timberland pro....both split between leather and rubber sole after 1 week....no more waterproof! Got my money back and bought the Caterpillar's, haven't looked back
i have be buying red wings boots for years most of them usually last me 5 years , i wear them everyday if you take care of them like oiling and cleaning ,they will last longer
do any of these boots have NON METAL lace up eyelets or catchers on top? i have to go through metal detectors at work, my current boots set off detectors, i can't wear them
Anyone got an opinion on Georgia boots. Obviously every brand has good and bad boots but just in general I just got a pair. I'd been wearing the Herman survivors from Walmart recently just bc they are cheap and comfortable. The most durable boots I've ever had where danners. But they where one of their most durable and also heaviest boots. I mean you clunked like hell when you walked
The timberland has an awesome toe for kicking off crud. But they are slippery as hell and after getting used awhile I guessed they'd get a little more grippy but after having them 5 years and now being wore out . I always thought the insole was too spongy. Not a lot of stability. They were just ok in the cold. Lots of room in the toe though. I've had Keene as well ...theyre
I work in construction for a living as a crane operator. I can say that even though KEENs are extremely comfortable, they'll fall apart within a month. Rubber pieces and sole fall apart easily (maybe adhesive is trash?) and warranty is trash. We dont want to spend $200+ on a boot to be falling apart within a month.
Did you talk to Keen directly? Everyone I know that had an issues with Keens really like the customer service and warranty. Keen also makes a wide variety of boots for different purposes.
Irish setters killed my feet and the leather was easily torn. Although their customer service was great sent me a another pair couldn’t wear them. Got wolverines journeyman and out of the box were super comfortable and are holding up real well.
18 years hard concrete. Extruder operator. I been through boots like crazy. I honestly don't think its the boot. Its the person, the person s foot, your walk, your weight. I'm 5' 11" 300lbs. One foot a half size smaller than the other, 1 leg a half inch shorter. I been through boots. I spent 50$ i spent 280$ . It dont matter. The only way to get the best boot is get a custom fit. Good luck on that. As far as redwings...... what a joke. I walked in the store, stepped on his machine, it said i was a size 11...... im a 13 sir. I walked out.
As a boot maker I would recommend not buying any that have a polyurethane mid sole or out sole as these suffer from hydrolysis and will damage your feet as well as being a waste of money and they all suffer from premature failure after a short time
@Mark Isabeast so why are you trying to mock someone for working in a warehouse. I've worked construction my entire life. And moved to warehouse because of back and knee problems. I would still run circles around you. You most likely wouldn't last a month where I work. Go away troll
I am going to school for automotive training, we work around alot of heavy equipment and solvents and chemicals. Can anyone recommend a brand from this list?
I work commercial construction, most of these boots on this video will last 4 months tops. American made Thorougood, carolina or redwings will outlast the other boots, break in faster and be more comfortable, period.
I had a pair of CAT Endure boots a few years back. Probably the most comfortable boots I've ever had, but boy they sure chose the wrong model name. They fell apart way too soon - chunks out of the sole etc. I told myself that I wouldn't buy CAT again, but fast-forward a couple of years and I found a pair of CAT Generator boots for a very good price. So far, so good. The made in China Red Wings have been good to me too. I'm sure the USA made one can only be better.
spend the $$$$ buy redwing boots comfortable as all hell and man do they last the last pair of 595 lasted 8 years wearing the new 595's now spend the $$$$ your feet will love them
Cat are my go too boot I work in a saw mill inside and outside very wet and muddy in winter and I swear by the cat device boot very light comfortable two years of wearing and still water proof and still and haven't fallen apart, I have a new pair ready to go, I've ordered the cat 8" premier hopefully they are just as good.
I have the Ramsey 2.0 first day I had em they were soaked to the bone..3rd pair of Redwing I've owned and they always get wet and fall apart I'm gonna try some Danners now I think
last pair of cat boots i had lasted about 3 months after that they leeked in water ! .timberland used to be a good boot over the years price went up just as quickly as quality went down best boots so far v12 avenger for daily wet work/dockers for general wear!!!!!
I will always go for quality in work boots as cheap boots carry a risk, granted its a small risk, however in 30 years of work i personally know two individuals that suffered extensive injuries due to failure of the steel in the toe caps....one had his toes severed, but they were re-connected making him the lucky one, the second individuals lost all his toes & the front part of his foot.
Was a die hard redwing boot buyer for 25 years, but prices went up and length of quality/length of ownership down so no more for me. Their socks with the lifetime warranty however are awesome even if they are at $20 a pair.
I ordered a pair of these shoes 9-9-2020. The per the delivery company, SF Express, stopped delivery as, “2020-9-15 01:01:05 Customer hasn’t pay off related fees. We will follow up.” I presumed the customer was Indestructable Shoes as they chose SF Express as the delivery company. When I contacted Indestructable Shoes the response was “I’m sorry to hear you are being asked to pay import/custom charges. Please note these charges are being imposed by your country, not by us.” OK, however, any such charges were not disclosed in the order process, there was no notification that delivery was being held for these fees, it was only discovered when I began to research tracking to find a delivery date and time for this purchase made 9-9-2020. Has anyone else had their delivery of shoes from this company stopped for these fees? Did Indestructable Shoes not know of the Import/Custom charges when they agreed to sell them to me? Do all seller/manufacturers not include these in the purchase price? I know we are all paying the tariffs, duties, custom fees on every imported product, dah, they are not punishment to the other country, US consumers pay them, however I have never seen a consumer being asked to pay these fees separate from the purchase price. BTW no one has told me the amount owed. No party has told me what it takes to complete delivery. I no longer care. I have filed a complaint with PayPal and Indestructable Shoes for a refund, this could takes many weeks. These look like great shoes if one could get a total purchase price and a completed delivery.
Hi out there I need big help as I just done Bathurst 12h in Australia as a flagger and didn't my feet kill standing in one spot as I'm disabled and I couldn't wait sit down as I volunteer for supercars and can't afford dear boots if don't work
@Mark Isabeast I meant. Five years total. Not one pair lasting 5 year. I do street maintenance. I'm on my feet a lot. Mostly working with hot asphalt. I do get a free pair of boots every year tho. And the timberland pro boondocks are the only pair I'll ever wear again. Although they do last longer. I will say that just because I get new ones every year. Doesn't mean I need them. I still have my first pair and still wear them. Another thing I also wear dress socks or a thinner pair of socks. No white cotton. I do this it helps keep my feet cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. The boondocks come in 2 versions. Winter has 400 extra grams of insulation. Try them and get back to me.
I have tried well over 2 dozen different brands of boots. Good name and no-name, cheap $40 to $160. I never, NEVER had any of them last any longer than 6 months. So if you think you have something that will last any better, send them my way and I will give them a real world testing..
Red Wing 2156 Chukka, i get 5-6 years out of a pair. You might have to resole them once or twice in that time. They are wonderful, depending on what you need to do.
@@sovereign4107 I'm just a humble machinist. Not very hard on them at all. Everything just falls apart My current pair is separating from the sole in the toe area. I should take a picture
@@sirgergorymmmc2231 I never had a problem with boots coming apart like that even for some of the cheaper boots. The last pair I bought were Timberland pro and I think they are the most comfortable that I tried but that was years ago and idk if they are still as durable. You may want to try something like Thorogood boots as I think they are tough for a fair price. You could always try redwings but I personally think they are overpriced for what you are getting.
@@malakisands8180 did you even use them for work? The boots you reference are the ones I currently have, put em to use in January, they're basically crap now. Need a new pair. So unless u put em on casually there's no way ANY pair of boots go that long at work. Believe me I bought the toughest red wings and they wore out just the same. 4months of work, wear, Sweat, the soles crack & break, the leather is thrashed, water leaking in. BS. Ill test any boot. BS
Niccolo Andretti agree Had several pairs of Timberland Pros through the years All crap Wanted to like because they make good looking boots, but don’t perform for me

Work boots feel good even when you're not working.
🏅 DM Chelsea boots
So which one the waterproof boots are the best to wear it for 12 hrs
Had cats, sole broke after 4 months, worked only indoors, shop fitouts
Yep. I had Cat. Felt great but the sole on both boots wore through to the lining within 6 months of working on mostly concrete and asphalt. Never again.
10:05 He said some of these people are on their feet a mile or two a day... hahaha try 15. Now you know why I'm watching boot videos.
What is the best boot For working on asphalt walking or running some of the boots i used don’t even last two months Any advice would be appreciated
Timberland pro has fallen apart in less than a year everytime I've bought them or seen them bought.
yes me too and they done give a sh1t.
Totally agree
Thank you fellas! Watched this video because I was looking into them. Redwings always crap out in less than a year for me and I’m tired of it! Any recommendations on what might be the best choice?
@@patricklogston4031 it really depends on the work you do. I'd say either Super Rainforest, Acadia, or Quarry are probably the best you can buy from Danner.
Same as 5 months I've had mine really comfy just absolutely useless For toughness
I have to stand on a concrete floor for 10 hr. days ,what steel toe boot have you tested for that?
The better question is what boot do you wear
Hermans survivors steel toe yes they are junk
Any of these boots come in a size 16 7E?
Redwing Supersole 2.0 Goretex. Plumber local 75.
Red Wings are the best for the money those and Ariaits.
Only good for a mile or two? I'm a landscaper I walk up to 15 miles a day 6 days a week
Same here brother! I laughed when he said a mile or 2 !!
Where did he say that I think I missed it, as someone who doesn’t have a car and has to walk 60+ miles a week just to get around being told it’s good for a mile or two is pathetic 😂
What boots do you recommend for people who are working in lawinforcenent that do lot’s of foot patrol 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
I can't decide which one will I buy cos all of them are nice
i find IRISH SETTERS are by far the most comfortable boots i own. The timberlands hurt the bottom of my feet..the soles arent so flexible. The Cats hurt the top of my feet..i think its the tongue and laces. But ALL these boots are 100% better than what we wore in the 80s or 90s.
one question... um are the soles going to fall/peel off?
I bought some caterpillar boots .and wore them for couple weeks and threw them fucken things away..uncomfortable and heavy af
Catepillar boots are the worst.. won’t last 6 months..
Dang it, I was just thinking about getting the second shift. 😭
Timberland pros last me a year doing rebar can't think of a much worse test lol
Had 2 pair of timberland pro....both split between leather and rubber sole after 1 week....no more waterproof! Got my money back and bought the Caterpillar's, haven't looked back
Go buy some Red Wings and truly never look back
My right ear loved this video
i have be buying red wings boots for years most of them usually last me 5 years , i wear them everyday if you take care of them like oiling and cleaning ,they will last longer
@Luke Skyfather yes everyday
do any of these boots have NON METAL lace up eyelets or catchers on top? i have to go through metal detectors at work, my current boots set off detectors, i can't wear them
Anyone got an opinion on Georgia boots.
@@5stardave I finally did. Their customer service was an excellent experience. Need to edit original post.
Blundstone boots rule 🏆🏅🏅🏅😋
Only boots i wear
hard to choose.... they all look nice, but, I need a boot where the sole won't wear out. I'm on my feet all day and do alot of walking!
Check out chippewa. Very reliable boots
Redwing said I’m smaller sized too, funny thing is... they fit really well
Red Wings boots runs smaller on everyone, check out this video: th-cam.com/video/fAKEQ4YzFO0/w-d-xo.html
Most of the olí & gas industries aprove redwings ,are the best.
I rock the Dakota's. Seriously warm and comfortable I have avg feet. Not wide
Thanks!
What is the price of this cat boot?
Can I get it? in Pakistan .
As a boot maker I would recommend not buying any that have a polyurethane mid sole or out sole as these suffer from hydrolysis and will damage your feet as well as being a waste of money and they all suffer from premature failure after a short time
What do you recommend then?
Thorogoods work great for me. 30 years.
What would you recommend for warehouse work?
@Mark Isabeast try being on your feet in a warehouse for 12 hours a day 60 hours a week. Nothing special my ass
@Mark Isabeast cool story, all warehouses are different. You would last 48 hours in my warehouse in shoes.
@Mark Isabeast so why are you trying to mock someone for working in a warehouse. I've worked construction my entire life. And moved to warehouse because of back and knee problems. I would still run circles around you. You most likely wouldn't last a month where I work. Go away troll
@Mark Isabeast that made absolutely no sense. Go away troll and grow up
are any made in USA?
I am going to school for automotive training, we work around alot of heavy equipment and solvents and chemicals. Can anyone recommend a brand from this list?
I wore the timberland pit boss pros in the oil fields of Wyoming and they are great boots. A little heavy but comfortable and really protect your feet
rubber boots
Good boots but I just don't like boots with laces and my preference are flat toes
Where are the Red Wing(s)??? Especially the all leather pull-ons. Long lasting and tough as hell..
I need a boot thats good for standing/working on concrete. All day.
what do you have in size 11b
I work commercial construction, most of these boots on this video will last 4 months tops. American made Thorougood, carolina or redwings will outlast the other boots, break in faster and be more comfortable, period.
Work boots? Laughs in Redwing. Sneers in Nicks.
I'm sure the USA made one can only be better.
spend the $$$$ buy redwing boots comfortable as all hell and man do they last the last pair of 595 lasted 8 years wearing the new 595's now spend the $$$$ your feet will love them
Are they non slip resistant on water and greeses floors
william fowler go to the web page for that info
If they lasted 8 years than you must work in an office....
Mongo 53 they just last buy a pair you'll see
Cat are my go too boot I work in a saw mill inside and outside very wet and muddy in winter and I swear by the cat device boot very light comfortable two years of wearing and still water proof and still and haven't fallen apart, I have a new pair ready to go, I've ordered the cat 8" premier hopefully they are just as good.
Top 10 with no Red Wings? come on!!
Danner & Red Wing boots are top work boots
I have the Ramsey 2.0 first day I had em they were soaked to the bone..3rd pair of Redwing I've owned and they always get wet and fall apart I'm gonna try some Danners now I think
This should be called top ten to fall apart list , the best boots that actually last are Redwings, chippewa boot ,Danner boot, and Filson boot
Danner boots are amazing!
last pair of cat boots i had lasted about 3 months after that they leeked in water ! .timberland used to be a good boot over the years price went up just as quickly as quality went down best boots so far v12 avenger for daily wet work/dockers for general wear!!!!!
Ok thanks for the commentary GSP
Redwing is the best !!!!
Correction, Carolinas are. Red wings shit out too fast.
All shoes extremely high quality & standards-based 👞👞👞👟👟👟👢👢👢👠👠💖💖💖💖💖💖👏👏👏🖒🖒🖒
Next Time review some Grisports, those are some of the best in the world
And are made in Italy i have 2 pares from amazon for cheap
Love this video
Still working in a pair of redwings from 2003
My favorite is the hyperion by timberland , i been wearing them for 4 years now. I wont buy anything else. Im sold for life ....
Which one? There are so many different Hyperion. Thank you
You must not do any work for a living. Timberlands last 6months tops before the sole completely rips itself off
if your fav is a timberland lol my dude, you need to slip your foot into a real boot
Timberland boots not worth the money believe it
They are for fashion not working in
£130 Timberland work boots most comfortable boot I've worn but fell apart to quick also dont waste your money
Red Wings by far are the best work boots I ever wore.
Plus made in the great ol' USA!!!!
Wrong. RW are junk
@@ramtrucks721 Which work boots would you recommend?
Hi out there I need big help as I just done Bathurst 12h in Australia as a flagger and didn't my feet kill standing in one spot as I'm disabled and I couldn't wait sit down as I volunteer for supercars and can't afford dear boots if don't work
I can contest to the timberland boondocks. Been using them for about five years now I'll never buy another pair of work boots.
Ask yrs foot Doctor they recommend redwing work boots
I have tried well over 2 dozen different brands of boots. Good name and no-name, cheap $40 to $160. I never, NEVER had any of them last any longer than 6 months. So if you think you have something that will last any better, send them my way and I will give them a real world testing..
Red Wing 2156 Chukka, i get 5-6 years out of a pair. You might have to resole them once or twice in that time. They are wonderful, depending on what you need to do.
What kind of work are you doing? Any boot over $100 should last you longer than 6 months unless you're just hell on them.
@@sovereign4107 well. I just went and purchased Herman Survivors. Again.
I haven't found a pair that lasts past 4 months
Niccolo Andretti ever tried Timberland Pro? I have had a pair that lasted over 5 years
@@malakisands8180 did you even use them for work? The boots you reference are the ones I currently have, put em to use in January, they're basically crap now. Need a new pair. So unless u put em on casually there's no way ANY pair of boots go that long at work. Believe me I bought the toughest red wings and they wore out just the same. 4months of work, wear, Sweat, the soles crack & break, the leather is thrashed, water leaking in. BS. Ill test any boot. BS
Yes I use them in the chemical industry and they do not fail being waterproof and staying together for 70 plus hour weeks
Try thorogood
Niccolo Andretti agree
Had several pairs of Timberland Pros through the years
All crap
Wanted to like because they make good looking boots, but don’t perform for me
.....This is just an 11 minute ad. Lol.
Sar this is boots awelable in Pakistan how mach price
Thorogood, hands down.
I already use caterpillar just broken in two days
