Great tips video! I think people that are new to the hobby should do research and watch videos like this before they go flat out with their rc. Like you said it’ll save you lots of trouble and $$ for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers man, yea a little bit of research goes a long way in this hobby. Yes big flat out jumps, is a no go until you have put in the time to make them strong 😁😁👍👍
new Sub! very helpful video. we all want to bash the instant it arrives but at least some of the things you mentioned could definitely be accomplished immediately... like tightening the screws and adjusting droop. maybe it was mentioned by other comments but one thing to add would be to vent the tires and tape the holes in the inside wheel. saves tires for the long run.

Sorry to be a pain but you seem to have cut yourself off at around 7:44 when you were about to make a point about the centre diff oil. I'm putting together a shopping list for diff oils and shims going off your videos and 500k oil seems more difficult to get hold of than the 300k and as I've never removed or stripped a diff before I want to try and get the shopping list right before taking all this apart. Thanks again.
Great advice, but i want to add a few more, use gorilla tape, it’s a lot better over time vs ducktape. Also get yourself some aluminum 7075 front and rear chassis braces, swap out reciever and radio to avoid issues and lagg. It’s a few cheap one with remote and controller for around 50-70 dollars.
Took Mann out for a run the other day it wasn’t terribly hot probably upper 70s outside running it mostly on asphalt but not doing speed runs back-and-forth just driving sliding around goofing off the thing was going into thermal shut down a lot and the motor and the ESC got really hot is this normal for one of these should I look at upgrading or is this something I should see about having warranty I ordered a cooling fan for the motor but the ESC fan was howling away and still it was overheating running to 3S 5200 million Batteries at the time
That does sound odd to be getting hot that quickly, were you in a small confined space like a garden or out in the open. Mine gets hot quick in the garden, lots of stop starts. If it's going to thermal cut out on wide open spaces and you have done nothing to it contact them and see what they say
Bournemouth RC I was actually in a big open parking lot but I was doing a lot of it’s hard acceleration and then pretty hard braking sliding the back and around and stuff like that sort of some light drifting so definitely a lot of acceleration and breaking I guess that could’ve had something to do with it but I was in a pretty open area
