I have a genetic mutation that makes me insensible to capseicine spiciness. When I was a child, and even as a youngster, I won hundreds of bets by drinking whole glasses of Tabasco sauce or eating a whole lot of Jalapeño peepers without drinking. I have tried such nightmarish things as the scorpion or ghost peepers, the Carolina dries or even pure capseicine, but for me, the spicy flavour is like sweet or sour for most of you, just I like it a lot. Nevertheless, I an not really sure about the potential damage to my body systems if I abuse too much over spici substances.

I went there with my husband, and we bought this bottle of chilli that was meant for a kebab takeaway van. I couldn't use it, it was too hot for me, but my husband like it. Anyway, it said, once open, keep refrigerated and use within a month. Well, we kept it in the fridge, but we kept it for MONTHS, namely over a year! Astonishingly, it did not get covered in mould and other such plant life. We think that the concentration of the sauce was such that it repelled the microscopic life that would have turned it bad. Amazing stuff and very cheap.
