In this video 📝 we are going to take a look at 3D-Net for Monocular 3D Object Recognition for a Traffic Monitoring System. From a single camera we can do 2D and 3D object detection, create a birds-eye view of the traffic and even track the objects over time. We can then use the information to estimate speeds, generate heatmaps and trajectories of both pedestrians and vehicles. I'm going to show you all of that throughout this video.

Yeah, I am gonna stay tuned definitely for sure. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hey, won't we be getting more videos on this?
Any way to implement this on live camera?
Would love to see more videos about it! Especially with live cams
Great video! 😊
You are rocking bro....
Thanks a lot mate! Appreciate it
I have two queries:
1)Which parameter I have to change to run it on a live camera feed?
2)How do I display the speed on the bounding box because in the original video uploaded on TH-cam by the authors, we can also see the speed of the vehicles. That's the thing I want to determine.
I would be highly grateful to you.
You have to change the stream from video to camera in opencv. Search the variable with the speed and print it above the bounding box
have you seen nvida's vox project? can't wait for it to come out or be available for noncommercial use.
Good
Can this amazing model be applied to a custom dataset, e.g., watching sea birds?
Trying to figure out the same 😄 Did you manage to find out?
👍
have you managed to get this to run on other videos?
I've spend some time on trying to get usable results but even the setup and calibration required writing my own as the codebase has errors and even functions missing. To my mind, while the calculations and different steps are implemented, the architecture as a whole is not functioning and appears disordered. But I'd love to get some feedback if others had similar experiences.
Hi yeah I have tried to run this too but does not appear fully functional, have you had any luck recently?
Doesn't work for other videos,
Have you got any results @ximchix @dresiwela3766
me too@@dresiwela3766
You have a course on that? Would love to buy it 🎉
Unfortunately not but have courses covering each aspect with object detection and tracking
Are English subtitles supported in your paid course???
Not directly since I’m using teachable for that. But if you buy the courses, I’ll send over videos with subtitles to you!
help , why my said there is no module named "model"
More information
i need course on this video
