Brilliant video. Very clear and well filmed. I put all the screws on an A4 sheet of white paper with descriptions of where they came from. I'm glad I did as the screws vary in length.

I just place the parts and screws next to eachother as I disassemble the camera, and I just go backwards when I do the assembly. I show this at my 50D disassembly / assembly video.

It worked!!! Thanks so much for the detailed step by step instructions on a complicated repair. The clear close-ups were very helpful in reassembling the camera and threading the ribbon cable properly. My suggestion is to label the screws as you remove them... I stuck each set to a piece of labeled tape for reinstall. Great Video!!!

I put the screws next to eachother like I removed them from the camera. I'm planning to make a video about it.

Any idea on the switch which reverses the screen, please.

My guess would be that it is a small magnet, but I'm not sure.

Fantastic video. Super clear and informative. I just wonder where to but this flex cable from? I wasn't able to locate one in The UK but all coming from China. Is it possible to buy OEM part? Thank you.

As I know, if the repair part is still in production, you can buy from Canon or 3rd-party camera repair shops.

good morning, thanks to your video I solved my problem. Now, however, I realized that the ring and func set no longer work. Is there a system to repair it? Does anyone have the same problem as me? Thank you

Check the flex cable, and also clean the end of it.

      I don't know, I haven't disassembled the MK III.
My guess would be that it is the same, because the specifications of the lens unit has not changed.
