I'm not sure about this line yet I understand they are a smaller company but when you can get 2 better quality Mattel figures for the same money it's going to be hard to get traction.
Brody is my all time favorite. All that's missing is the Red River Jack mask ! Great figure 👍😎 Other than Hansen , Brody also formed a famous team in Japan with Jimmy Snuka known as The Team Of Beasts. I agree we need an Abdullah figure now.
Brody's one of my favorite wrestlers so this is the figure I'm looking forward to most. I like it but I definitely don't love it. The accessories are a miss for the reasons you already stated, Kyle. Outside of the beautiful title belt. But the forehead is the tough part for me. Right now it's kind of an eye sore but I'll see when I have it in hand. Sculpting in the scars would have been much better or I'd prefer they leave them off totally to this. Or at least they should be lighter. The face is good otherwise but I'm distracted by the scars right now. But yeah, it's a six inch scale Brody figure and it looks pretty damn good even with the warts. Still happy I'm getting it but a bit of a letdown.
The way long torso, short legs, tiny hands, and pink scars are off putting and the boots and vest could've been shaggier but this is still pretty damn good. Would love to seen him next to the first Super 7 Andre. Really looking forward to the Thesz and Verne unboxings, those 2 seem the most accurate to me. Especially Verne.
Bruiser is really cool. I only wish that they scaled better with the Mattel figures. I think it's really cool we are getting figures of guys like Lou Thesz and Vern Gagne in 2023. However, it's disappointing that they don't scale with the Mattel figures. Not sure how I would display these guys if I had them. That would be something to figure out :)
My set of powertown figures just arrived this week (was awaiting KVE) and I absolutely love them. They did a good job with these. I love the flap info, too.
Hmmmm. It will be interesting to see how I feel once I actually have Brody and Hansen in hard, but I’m still feeling a little underwhelmed. Again, it’s the $45 price point I’m struggling with. At $25, I could be much more forgiving. Just having decent looking Brody and Hansen figures would make up for some of the shortcomings, but there are just too many other lines out there competing for my discretionary income (which is shrinking along with everyone else’s). This is a base hit. For $45, I need a home run. I want to love these so much that I would pay $60, but it’s just not happening, at least not so far.

He towers over his Jakks figure! I attribute that at least partially on Jakks’ scaling issues. I definitely prefer the powertown one. And I love your Brody shirt!
Another fire review. Just got mine today. I am glad they made it. Could use a few tweaks like you said, mainly the articulation of the line going forward. But I really like this figure. I think your feedback on the vest and boots are good. As well as the scars on the head (even if he's bleeding from a fight, it wouldn't be all the lines across his forehead so it only makes sense these are scars and they wouldn't be that color if scars). However, the number 1 question on everyone's mind is scale. I don't need to see it compared to Classic Superstars. How about comparisons against Elite Undertaker, Braun Strowman etc? I saw another video where Stan Hansen matches up well with Big Van Vader (both are 6 4). The old Elite Magnum TA could have been undersized like most old Elites (for instance compare Sycho Sid vs Mark Callous) so please do scale comparisons with newer Elites! Thanks
@Kyle Peterson magnum is 6 1. Also the elite magnum seems undersized. But he seemed to scale well with elite dusty. Would you say he was much taller than ultimate Terry funk though? The smaller screen on the left seemed like a tad bit but on the right seemed a lot taller. Thanks

According to Tony Atlas who was Bruiser Brody's best friend is adament Gonzalez murdered Bruiser. Idk if Gonzalez is guilty of murdering Bruiser. Or if it was indeed self defense. That's the problem with these type of gimmicks back then. They see how you're acting just assume your attacker was acting in self defense.
They did him justice with this figure well done! It would have been strange to see him in wwf because most likely Vince Jr would have changed his character completely
Vince would have booked Brody as an unstoppable monster running through everybody until losing to Hogan at one of the WrestleManias. Brody was all about business so he would have done the job , got the big payday and then gone back to Japan.

I actually didn't know much about Brody until I seen his Darkside of the Ring. These figures are really neat. I wish I had pre-ordered a few.
