Chloe's awkward flirting remains, to this day, one of my favorite things in all of TV history. It's just so hilarious 😂 Even better when you know that Lauren has the dirtiest sense of humor of the entire cast lmao
Yeah. The ages of the main cast are baffling at times. Tom Ellis, Lauren German (Chloe) and Aimee Garcia (Ella) are all 42. Some people are just blessed to age amazingly.
Lauren German, who plays Chloe, was 38 when this episode aired. So probably 37 when it was filmed. I don't know if they'll see this comment, but it is the answer to the conversation they were having at the end about how old Chloe is supposed to be.
don't worry, Blindwave has said in one of the recent podcast that they have stopped reading TH-cam comments a long time ago, since it is filled with excessive amount of spoilers by over-enthusiastic fans, so they won't read this comment. but the non-reacting crew member will probably see this comment.
AGREED. I can't wait to see their reaction to the second part of this cliffhanger! Blind Wave, could you post it early, as a Christmas present to us? ;)
Within the context of the show, the angels were created through a physical union of God and the Goddess. Thus the angels are God's actual children. Humans were created solely by God: God created Adam and Lilith from clay, and then later Eve was created from one of Adam's ribs. So Lucifer has never slept with any human that's actually related to him.
This is one of my favourite episodes and the next one. Finally he thinks God has nothing to do with Chloe's feelings. After all this time he is out of god's will. And then when he knows the truth it broke my heart. Poor guy
The giveaway in the dream before she wakes up is the fact that Lucifer has horns in the dream. He said, I believe it was in season 1, that the horns and devil tail are all just Hollywood movies and not actually what his devil form looks like.
And he's right! Although... *spoiler alert for season 4, don't read this unless you've finished season 4, spoiler alert ending soon, be prepared* the spikes on his devil wings do look a bit like horns when he holds his wings back. Though before 4x09, he wouldn't know that as he's never had the devil wings until then.
Tim DeKay really wanted to shed the "good guy" image he developed from years in White Collar, didn't he? Between Chuck, Agents of SHIELD and this, it was quite a run of nasty characters.
@@athenamae2288 For Matt Bomer, Chuck came first, but Tim DeKay was in the last season of Chuck. (Can't remember if White Collar had ended the summer prior or not)
Mark 6:28. That's not unrealistic! In Pauls Valley, librarians have had to call the police in to stop and arrrest men who went there to use the computers to look at sexual materials in plain sight of the other people. Same thing happened at "King's Kids", but with a teenager who thought that it was okay because he was also a minor. 😁
Good news, Rick: I think this is the only dream sequence in the entire series (at least as far as I remember), so you can trust them again! 😁 But yeah, the beach kiss was real, the makout session pre-bang was the dream.
16:30 It was not a hospital show, althought there are so many of those I wouldn't be surprised if they did it too. But the show you're talking about was Dallas... JR's younger brother Boddy died at the end of a season, and as the actor went and did another projrct, Dallas went through a season without him... The project failed, I think, anyway he wanted to come back, and as he was a popular character, the network was all for it. So they had him come back for a cliffhanger at the end of the season he missed. His wife discovering him in the shower! Season ends there! Turns out, the next season starts with the lame excuse that the previous season was all in his wife's head, she dreamed it all, and he was never dead, never actually gone. The whole season was a waste of time and nothing that happened in it could be referred to as having happened. It was weird AF!
That discussion about her age really threw me, because at first when they said she didn't look 34, I was like right! she looks older! And then they were saying she looked younger. haha. I mean I'm 33, and she looks way older than me, which she is, she's in her 40s.
Mark 14:06. Dreams and imagination? Hmm. Well, okay. One season of "Dallas" was revealed to all be Pam's dream. (No one consulted with the spin-off series "Knots Landing" though, so they ignored that and continued on as if it wasn't a dream!) "The Bob Newhart Show" revealed that all of "I Dream of Jeannie" actually was a dream of Bill Daly's character! Then in turn, "Newhart" was revealed to be the dream of Bob's character! But the biggest plot twist of all? They call it "The Tommy Westphall Universe" and all "DC" and "MCU" movies and series are a part of it! 🤯😵💫
What I love over the years are all the parodies making fun of the Dream of the death of Bobby Ewen (sp?) arc from Dallas. The BEST version was the series finale of "Newhart" where Bob wakes up with his costar of his former show, "The Bob Newhart Show", saying the entire SERIES was a strange dream.
What about when an entire show was a dream?!! Last episode... Bob Newhart wakes up from his dream of owning an inn in Vermont (not positive of the state) to find himself still in bed with his wife from his sitcom in the 70s! I'll fight anyone saying that wasn't a great ending and was just a trope, lol!

both the actress playing Maze, and the actress playing Linda, were pregnant during the series. Linda was pregnant twice, and 50 the second time...must be a lot of testosterone on the set...the actress playing Maze is married to the man who plays Chloe's dad in a flashback.
