Was happed on 14.3.2024 at 7am and I don’t know what course the fire it was still under investigation.

Well if up-to-date the owner is apparently PT Sendok Bali which owns/operates many restaurants/pubs across various Bali and Lombok tourist areas. The owners are apparently a Balinese woman and her German chef husband with a long and successful local business history. But renting venue premises anywhere can be a task (unless they own the land/building which is often not possible in popular or desa-controlled areas). There has been a lot of rain (biasa selama musim hujan) and electrical shorting is common in Indonesia. But business premises fires in Bali are rare, and because they can spread so easily and with such devastation the locals are right onto trying to prevent it, and dealing with it if the worst happens.
The Indonesian press is saying the fire started on the "first floor" (meaning ground floor) and there are "hotel rooms" upstairs which weren't affected (although certainly the smoke and water would have penetrated much of the building). Poser had nice wood and furniture, and probably good kitchen equipment, so the loss is of course significant. Not to mention the lost revenue, jobs and wages every day/night. It's in a primo location and if the land/building is rented the Poser business owner has that issue to deal with going forward. Also fires weaken a building's support and electrical structures (as Chandra showed us) so let's see what happens on any eventual reinforcement, rebuild or business replacement (which may indeed take some time). Totally amazing that neighbouring businesses and premises didn't go up in flames too - well done to the Indonesian locals in getting that quickly under control. Semoga pulih cepat yuk!

Upstairs will b damaged and next door also on both sides,very dangerous,i know cause I'm fire and rescue in Oz,u might think it's not but it will be,no matter who tells you it didn't damage upstairs.😢

It's gone,so terrible and sad to see this happen,it was a great place to drink and have a meal,food was great,cause it was on the corner made it better,very interesting people walking past and also the beautiful Balinese people,so sad to see this happen,wow,cannot believe it.😢😢😢
