I love the fact that Marvel is opening the space for diversity. Makes me feel passionate about their progressive style. We all deserve to have representation in the filming industry. 20 years ago, latinas were considered sex bombshells only and drug dealers. Pakistanies were considered terrorist. Now they are superheroes! 🥳 I wish, though, to be able to see the filming industry representing us in a realistic light about our heritage and contribution (we all have something to contribute). I have noticed that if we all speak Spanish we are automatically mexican and Mexico is big but the hispanic community is not only represented by Mexico. Because we speak Spanish we don’t automatically love rancheras, dance tango or live in a desert surrounded by scorpions. There is diversity within the hispanic community and I am pretty sure in all communities as well. Different hispanic communities have different history and culture. Mexicans have their distinctive music, cuban as well, colombian as well, Spanish as well, puertorrican as well, etc. Regardless, I am incredibly happy with all the advances 🙏🏻💐

I’ve been working for bottega veneta for 3 years now, and I got the chance to meet and talk to Mr Pinault ( Mrs Hayek husband’s ) and man, Mr Pinault ( the owner of Gucci, YSL, Balenciaga, Bottega) he was so humble and down to earth, way more then many managers I have to deal with everyday.

Salma is so good at talking and taking the floor but still sharing the spotlight and direct the conversation to include whoever else is there. She uplifted Kumail so much in this segment. Can't wait for the movie.
