Not only is your playing fantastic, Richard, but you make it look like you are having so much fun! You wear that organ like a glove! Wonderful to watch. Thanks!
Hi Richard, your channel has been an inspiration to many others including myself. I love the hymns you play, the way you play them, the majestic sounds of the organ and etc. It has inspired me to explore the virtual organ too, and in a small way - it has let me to recording hymns and sharing them with others too on my little channel. God bless you for bringing the gift of music and hymns to so many others! I am Bernard, all the way from the tiny country of Singapore.
Sadly I was not able to join live yesterday, as I have a busy week recording two organs for the local TV series and a lunchtime recital next saturday. I will watch on catchup this week! The Bobbie moment of all things bright is just my favourite! Thanks Richard for putting this together! I will watch live next week! Also a shoutout to the rest of the community as well as all the others that make BiS run behind the scenes like the producers and Caroline; without you BiS would not be what it is today. Kind regards, Tim van Elderen
Brilliant video, Richard. You played a lot of my favourite hymns. O Come All Ye Faithful was quite the surprise, I had never heard it played with four hands before. Keep up the good work. Regards to the family. Slàinte Mhath🏴
The organ you featured in the first two songs had such AWESOME bass--GRRROOOWWWLL..it made me feel like I was listening to the Great Organ from Washington National Cathedral
It's so wonderful to look back and see the journey. Thank you so much Richard for uploading these selections; they really helped to ease the pain in my heart today, as someone died just an hour before the video.
The one, "Immortal, Invisible" is not a hymn I recall from my childhood or even adult churches I've attended, but I surely do LOVE that tune & your rendition! "VC Highlights//" CERTAINLY some of my fave moments since I first discovered VC on TH-cam! Richard (& Caroline too) all of your selections are wonderful & SO beautifully performed with heart & soul.. SUCH blessed moments! THANK YOU, as always!
This is amazing!!! I just left Salisbury Cathedral (as a Chorister) and was lucky enough to play the organ on my final day. You are truly inspirational and your organ playing is amazing!
Love the organ session every week watching from Suffolk in East Anglia, where we are local to where Richard has performed at St Edmundsbury cathedral once..
Will watch on playback as too early Monday for me now. Be interesting to see what you have chosen. Next time perhaps some from during Covid which I loved. Blessings
