Making money is not my primary objective. After expenses are taken into consideration, remaining revenue is invested back into BEAUTY IN SOUND. Audio and visual equipment is expensive, and I also pay a fair fee to all recitalists who appear on BIS. This is why I regularly ask YOU to help, and I’m sorry for having to do so. I hope that you can all see the tangible improvements being made to BIS along our shared journey.

Sou sacerdote católico, e amo a Santa Mãe Igreja. Parabéns pela iniciativa. O estilo musical me transporta para o céu. Deus abençoe.
Richard! If only you knew how much your production is a blessing to some of us!!! ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥 eternally grateful🙏🏻
Heaven and earth meet with a more profound “Alleluia”.
This is such an awesome gift ! Thank you, Richard. This is definitely the very best cancer therapy I could ever hope to receive.
You have cancer?
Yes. Unfortunately I do. There are a number of persons who subscribe to this lovely channel who find BIS music and community a real blessing in facing this adversary. I am not alone here@@maximus914
God bless you for healing and health. 🙏
Thank you mr. McVeigh for this gorgeous treat. I can't stop listening to it❤
It's incredibly impressive what was done with this video!!! Great praise from the bottom of my heart!
Also I know what artistry in videography to realize this! I bow down!👌
Wow, you feel like you are there, 😺💞💖🇨🇦💕🐾♥️❤️
Oh my God!! Chills!! The opening chant has been my favorite for years!!!! God bless you Richard🔥
From an Anglican Anglo-Catholic I thank you brother in Christ for this. May God bless you all. 🙏✝️❤️
Thank you with Blessings and Peace.🙏
More of this please ! Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you for putting up the words in Latin and English, that helps so much!
Just stunning! I got into Gregorian chant back in the 70's/80's by sheer chance by watching the series "Butterflies" by Carla Lane and set in my home town of Cheltenham! Geoffrey Palmer played a character who's relaxation was listening to Gregorian chant & I was hooked!
Beautifully produced against the these sublime recordings. As always, Thank you Richard and all those that support your work.
Thks Richard for your hard work in putting together this video of beautiful music & architecture.
More I listen to this performance and more I like it. I hope to hear more very soon.
Thanks once again
Wonderful! This is the perfect thing on the way home after a long day. Thank you so much for these beautiful recordings and video captures of these wonderful cathedrals!
Awesome video of beautiful music Richard! Thank you🌷
Astonishingly beautiful. Thank you Richard for sharing this very special experience. Your skill at capturing these amazing spaces and sounds is breathtaking!
Thank you. Making the train from Birmingham to Newcastle enjoyable.
What an exquisite video Richard. Very professional, well crafted and with soul! It must have taken a lot of work! Very very impressive!
So beautiful, Richard! Thank you!
Sung so graceful 😢❤
These seem different from VC & many of your organ recitals, etc., BUT WONDERFUL! In reading Mr. Vogel's comment, this was one of your originals...very NEW to me & a TREASURE! Thank you! This is a wonderful place to practice "The Holy Hour", recommended & practiced by Bishop Robert Barron, originator of "Word on Fire", & begun by the late Bishop Fulton Sheen.
This is a simply beautiful video. Music and visuals. Thanks for all your hard work on this.
Well done for finding these recordings Richard. Many have been deleted from TH-cam, and the BBC won’t release archive audio…
Beautiful. Thank you very much for posting ❤. God bless you.
Absolutely love this!
Ho avuto i brividi tutto il tempo dell'ascolto. Bravissimi. Grazie dal profondo del cuore per le emozioni che ci avete regalato.
Much needed! Thank you, Richard. Stunning visuals, too! 🌟
Your videography/photography is excellent. Each shot/perspective-the pacing, panning-very well suited to the music.👍
Adoráveis Sensacionais 💗💓💞💕❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎❤🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
Well done! Thank you 🙏
Thanks so much, Richard! Did you know that these recordings were my first introduction to what would later become "beauty in sound"? Great to have them 'back' :)
Thanks!
Thank you very much - I really appreciate that :)
The photography of Lincoln is stunning! I realise that I am supposed to be listening as well, and so I was, but that photography is crystal clear - beautiful! Thank you.
I can count on one hand the number of great recordings of chant I have been able to find. This blows away everything I have heard. Is there any way to obtain/listen to these recordings (and your music/recordings in general) in higher quality than TH-cam provides?
A taste of heaven. Sublime.
This is spectacular! My favorite is having the text and translation. I've always longed to know which psalms are being sung, and the videos of gorgeous churches are just the cherry on top!
Well, it took a while but I finally found your channel Richard. I heard a Gregorian Chant called "Music of Cathedrals" on another channel and was captivated.
By the way, have you heard of NF? Check out his tracks "Hope," "Gone," & "Running, " if you've the time & inclination.
Thanks for all your work.
While Dolby Surround helps to some degree, it's a pity that TH-cam doesn't support discrete multichannel audio or Dolby Atmos. This would be a perfect use case.
For that to work, the original recording would need to be multichannel. And a lot of them are downmixed to stereo upon mastering for broadcast. Personally, I use upmixing technoogy from Creative SBX.
@@sebastianzietara4018 I am 99% sure that these organ recordings are initially multichannel. The problem is that TH-cam doesn't support them and everything is downmixed to stereo, which is unbelievable in 2023. So, to enjoy the multichannel audio, we have to use special technologies like the aforementioned Dolby Surround, which by the way is one of the most advanced algorithms available.
@@g.o.3262 Probably, and yes we must use upmixing algorithms to try to emulate the original multichannel experience. It is quite frustrating as the broadcasting industry now use generally the AC-4 format that has been conceived to work with the extensive requirements of Dolby Atmos.
Hey! Which English translation are you using ?
Only in England would you hear this great music 🎶
