Canon 60D in 2021: If you need an affordable camera for 2021 the Canon 60D is a great, cheap option that I've personally been using on almost all of my projects for over four years now. You may be wondering is the canon 60d good in 2021? The answer is yes, the Canon Eos 60d is still a great option even though it's turning 11 years old and in today's video I'll show you the photography and video the 60d is capable of creating. If you have any affordable camera suggestions leave them in the comments below, and don't forget to subscribe!

Just found one on eBay, brand new, unused. Coming Monday, hopefully, can’t wait! Have a couple lenses already and a 550ex flash. Long time film shooter with an A1, and a T90, keeping them, love to shoot slides, but looking forward to digital. Have an old used digital Rebel my wife got me from work a few years ago, but really looking forward to getting into more with the 60D.

I still use my 60D. I use it for youtube interviews for a channel I work on. The 50mm f1.8 lens was a great recommendation and has helped a lot. I also use the 60D for wildlife photos and landscape work. I've also got a 77D that I use for sport photography with a 70-200mm f2.8 lens, and also still use my trusty old 1200D for general photo stuff as well. I think I'll be using my 60D for some time to come. I love it and it gives great results.

Dude Paul that’s awesome to hear, I always like when others are shooting high quality work with the 60D! Yeah I really think it’s just so solid, like even with the 80D I really like the feel and menus of the 60D. Any lenses you’re wanting to get soon?

I’d say it’s a solid option still. I’m currently using an 80D now so I can shoot 60 fps. With that said the 60D is still great especially at its price. If you’re doing TH-cam videos or interviews it’s a great pick. If you need more slow motion though I’d look into something else.

i use a 60d with external flash and canon zoom lens for my freelance work mainly shooting behind the scenes for music videos and instagram pictures for clients and i get amazing results. ive also used the 30d and 50d and they were also solid even in 2022. for pictures only though, i wouldnt recommend the 60d for videos. i havent used the 70d but that is my personal experience with the canons and i love the dslrs more than the mirrorless sony a6100 i started on (for pics). if you want to charge people for videos i wouldnt get anything that shoots in less than 4k. 1080p looks fine but trust me you will want to shoot in slow motion sometimes and 720p is unacceptable in 2022 in my opinion. i use a blackmagic pocket 4k for all my videos and it’s insane what you get for the money with that camera. if youre looking for a solid hybrid camera that can do both i would choose the sony a6100 or a6300
