Wonderful Truth. Your understanding is well spoken. I pray there will be more ears that will hear the Word and understand. That more may turn to our loving God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Thanks Heather.
Wow I have prayed The Lord’s Prayer since I was little and I never knew it had that meaning. 🤦🏽♀️ every time I watch your videos I learn something new. Thank you ❤
I'm so glad you said that! I was wondering if anyone did! I don't know that I ever have lol. Always interested in getting other people's buy-ins because we're all different. Thank you!
The 5 Crowns 👑: 1.The incorruptible or imperishable crown. 2. The crown of righteousness. 3. The crown of life. 4. The crown of glory. 5. The crown of rejoicing or exultation. ❤️
I think I wrote about this in my Rev 3 study. Maybe Rev 4. All crowns have links in the plain text to His appearing. I'll have to look it up. Been a while since I talked about it. But we aren't the only ones who will get them either, so everyone would get them at the same time.
@ yes I will have to go look at that. Especially if you Explain Revelation 4:4 where they had the crowns on their head vs Revelation 4:10 where they cast them before the thrown. Thanks. I’ll go check it out.
At 15 minutes in....thank you for teaching this correctly. I hear so many people get it mixed up. I think this confusion is in part from the misunderstanding about the restrainer and what/who is restraining presently. They misunderstand and think that the Holy Spirit is not present on earth indwelling in believers at all during the 70th week....I think in part because they say well if the Holy Spirit is the restrainer and removed then the Holy Spirit isn't present. This is simply wrong.understanding. I think the amount of time between the rapture and someone on earth becoming a tribulation saint and being indwelled with the Holy Spirit on earth is going to be really short because I think that many will believe immediately after the rapture. Hoping and praying that our nephews will come to Christ before the rapture (or immediately after).
You're welcome, and yep! I think a misunderstanding of II Thess 2 has hindered this understanding of the Holy Spirit and its actions within the 70th Week. Probably a misunderstanding of Matthew 25, also. Just trying to help folks out a little.
Catching up on your recent videos. When I heard you get into the "Lord's prayer" I was hoping you would touch on the idea of continually asking God for forgiveness of sins (or trespasses) as suggested in the prayer. My belief is that saved believers are no longer under the law and therefore no longer under sin because sin is only of the law ...and so it makes no sense to me to continue to daily ask God for forgiveness of sins. Was curious on your perspective, thanks!🙏
It doesnt talk about daily repentance for sins. It says give us this day our daily bread. Daily bread = Jesus as bread of life/word of God. The other requests are simply to forgive trespasses, lead not into temptation, and deliver from evil. I think I'm not understanding what you're asking. This was an example given, not the only way in which anyone was ever supposed to pray. It's also never instructed to be a daily prayer. That would equate to vain repetition which Matthew 6 warns against. So I'm not sure if that's what you're getting at or not?
@ Thanks for the reply. I guess I didn’t word my question very well. Many people believe that this prayer suggests that they should daily ask God to forgive them of their trespasses (aka sins, wrongs, whatever). I don’t believe that applies to church age believers. This was a prayer Jesus suggested before the cross. In your estimation…Should we daily (or ever) after believing the Gospel ask God for further sin forgiveness? It would seem to me to be a sign of unbelief that Jesus has already forgiven all sins of the believer. People will of course couple this with 1Jn1:9 out of context. Sorry I’m just really trying to get this right because my spouse is one of these people and it really bothers me. Thanks again for your time and thoughts.
Ooooh gotcha. That's helpful. Thank you. I actually just responded to someone else about this on another video where he said something to the effect of itemizing all we did wrong and asking for forgiveness daily. That's what prompted me to make the most recent sin nature vs sin video. No to daily asking for forgiveness. There is nothing in the Bible to ever suggest that was required or requested or necessary. Repentance is a one time thing. There was no command to do so with the Lords prayer either. Matthew 6 puts this way better than Luke. I'd check that chapter out. It actually begins by addressing not to pray in vain repetition and gives a basic outline for people asking how to pray. Recognize the deity of God who you're praying to. Pray for His will to be done. Acknowledge that His kingdom is going to come and partaking of the bread of life, making today the day of your salvation, is how you get into that kingdom. The putting off of the corrupt old man gets sins remitted, temptation (hour of) avoided, and deliverance from sins obtained. To your point, this prayer was also given forward looking to earthly kingdom presentation #1, hence kingdom is its message. However, all dispensations from the 1st coming forward end with kingdom presentations. That was really the point i was trying to make.
@@heatherr4825 awesome, thanks for the reply, which has led to another question. In your response you said “repentance is a one time thing”. I just have to ask for clarity, repentance from what, to what exactly?
"GOD is not a respecter of persons". I wonder could You speak to this. I'm almost certain that I have the wrong end of the stick on this verse Heather. Repent is the Greek word metanoia which means to change your mind. Believe in the Lord
