You know, Pixar's great and all, considering it's one of a few movie studios that make good movies, but did it ever occur to some writers/directors/producers/animators that there's a reason why some things aren't meant to be made or shouldn't even exist, like for example, when Pixar made Cars 2 and Lightyear, it receives so many hate due to bad writing, and so many regrets, although Lightyear being awful like what they said about The Good Dinosaur could be lies, just like with Brave, ironically, it won an Oscar. The point is, they shouldn’t try to make something terrible or make good things worse to make money and earn a lot of ratings, and not everyone's a critic, it's just a phrase that shouldn’t be taken literally.

@@oww386 You know, I've always considered that Onward takes place on Earth. The only proof we have that it may not be on earth is the two moons. What I think is that some sort of asteroid crashed into the moon, splitting it into two, and it caused some sort of mass extinction event that caused monsters and humans to procreate and give birth to all sorts of new species, like the manticore, elves, etc. The only problem with it is where it fits in the timeline, i think it would be the end of the timeline, not considering that soul is technically timeless

I am a confused on the Onward and Elemental parts. The only thing I could think of for Onward is that humans and (maybe) restored animals mutated to mythical creatures. But how is magic found and why is technology being found again? As for Elemental, are you saying it is similar to Soul's Great Before?

For "Onward", it's simple: after their return on Earth at the end of "WALL-E", the humans and restored animal mutated to mythical creatures. Searching new energy for this restored world, they retrieved the magic.
