I am a 68 year old beginner. I would love to be able to paint like this. Excellent work. I wish I had one tenth of your skill. I would paint every day until I die. Thank you for the video. 🙏🙏🙏
Michelle I love painting along with you, you make me smile and laugh out loud with your comments during the tutorials. I’m still a beginner but I love the way you teach and there is no doubt what a talented artist you are. Thank you so much.
I just finished this one today. I will probably do it again in the future after more practice. This is my first MTP painting, but definitely not the last. You are a great instructor, and I like your painting style. Thank you for allowing us to experience your teaching.
Just beautiful!! I love your color choice for the train! The curve you have on the train gives the illusion its going around a bend! Awesome! Great job!! ❤
I painted the train at night through the forrest with you last year i am definitley going to paint this one to thank you so much you have tought me so very much blessings from South Africa
Love your tutorials, my fave part besides the instruction, is that the color list is short and affordable--that is, you mix to create hues rather than have a list a mile long of exotic colors a lot of tutorials online have. I think mixing to create a color is far more "artist" than buying a tube.
Thank you Michelle! I have been working in watercolour for 3 years and watching your amazing video has given me the confidence to try acrylics. I am fairly pleased with the result. You are a great teacher 👏👏👏
Michelle you actually make me want to board this train and set of on a adventure winding round the mountains. You are undoubtedly the best teacher out their. Thank you so much. And you have a lovely way about you xx
outstanding..you continue to amaze your faithful followers....i love to paint trains..not sure why because i dont have any connections to trains but painting a train is always special to me...i wish i could give you a trophy 🏆 🏆 award...elmira ny
Please allow me to quote you : " I know where my happy place is when it comes to painting" ❤ This sentence made me deeply understand the importance of finding our own happy place. Painting above all for ourselves and not to impress the gallery Thank you deeply Michelle ❤ Danielle
I'm glad that those words resonated with you Danielle. It is about finding your own happy place during the process, as it (your art) is for you before it is for anyone else.
Beautiful, I have been watching a few of your videos and am so amazed with people who have the ability to paint!!! Me, I can't paint a single straight line it is always wobbly. Lol. Thank you for sharing your skills with your UTUBE fans.
Thanks Michelle for a great tutorial. I painted along with you, and it turned out fabulous. Its a keeper. I have done a few of your paintings, but this was the best. Again thanks.
I'm definitely ordering this kit, great job! As s slight train enthusiast, I wanted to mention that the 'shovel' device on the front of those old trains was called a 'cow catcher' - I guess in the early days of the railroad, cattle on the tracks was quite a problem - the cow catcher encouraged the stationary cattle to mosey along...
You always make painting stuff, like the train, look so easy! I was attempting one on my own and oh did I have a problem. Thank you again so much for this tutorial!
😁👋awwwww it’s beautiful, I love trains I liked how you draw and paint all those small details , 😅 wow amazing,🥰 thank you for all your tutorials, the best 👏👏👏👏👏👏Bravo my sweet Lady 🥰
Thank you so much! I'm new to painting and it's so exciting to actually be able to create something beautiful! This was fun and challenging for me. THANK YOU! 😃
I’ve wanted to paint a train scene so bad. I just had my first grandson and he and his mom love trains. They live in Japan and ride them on the daily. They are home for a couple months so I’m tackling this foe christmas. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with such enthusiasm and care.
Im painting this lovely painting for my 4 year old grandson who's obsessed with trains.😊 I've been off for several years. I was wondering how you're doing. I hope you are well. I was last on your channel when you took time off. I hope you are doing better. Good to see you Michelle.
I think the piece on front of the train to push things off the track is called a cow catcher. Lol I’m sure there’s another technical name for it but cow catcher is the only thing I remember! 🤣 Beautiful painting. Winter scenes are my favorites.
Michelle you make it look so perfect. And yours always turns out good. I have been working all day on this painting. Just finished. Not nothing like yours. But I tried it was fun. Thank you.
Me encanta tu trabajo y tu forma de explicar las cosas para mi eres una profesional del arte artista gracias por pintar para nosotros los principiantes ,
This is so beautiful and reminds me of a train trip I took home one winter years ago with all the snow. Thank you so much and I will be giving this one a try for sure.
WOW THATS GORGEOUS. THAT WILL REALLY CHALLENGE ME BUT IM UP FOR IT. I’M FINISHING THE PEACOCK THEN IM GOING TO START THIS WONDERFUL PAINTING. WISH ME LUCK MICHELLE. BARBARA
I'm happy that you're enjoying the videos and are proud of your paintings I have two Facebook pages where people post their paintings with me. One is a public page for my business "Michelle the Painter " and the other is a private page called "Michelle's Painting Group". The private group is a like a small family of like-minded artists all sharing their work and there are other painting benefit such as, monthly art contests, skill challenges, educational classes, live Zoom lessons with me, and more. If you’re interested, you can check out the link: www.patreon.com/michellethepainter I can’t wait to see your work.
Just incredible!!! Michelle I just want you to know I appreciate you so much your time, your teaching, your talent and sense of humor!!!I'm still learning my way around things!!!😊😊❤❤❤
Like how you start in the back & come forward with the vision. I have a painting its painted on the back side of the glass so it seems to me artist must have started in foreground , back side covered with base coat like you started with .
Dang that is pretty cool!!! Very nice work! I love anything locomotive. Apologies I haven't commented on anything yet. I'm a new painter trying to get a sense of color mixing and technique. Retired paramedic of 28 years, so I need to learn patience and things take time. I guess I'm used to working fast. Anyway, really enjoy your stuff. I'll try to comment more.
....now I see something from you for the second time: strange! The thing about the steam train is something - only, yes - I'll say plain: in Scotland there is a viaduct - where the train (that's also kind of plain, boring!) drives in an arc from right to left into the foreground! Only it's just a train: I don't know if there's another train, i.e. a steam train. That would be exciting - to have the train coming from the back right in the middle directly towards the viewer - assuming spatial depth... I'll watch the whole movie to the end... Thanks Kind regards from Berlin, Germany
Wow--just WOW!! That's incredibly beautiful! As I noticed this tutorial clocks in at well over 2 hours, may I ask how do you keep the paint on your palette from drying out? (As I paint much slower than you, I'll probably break this up over a couple of sessions regardless.) Thanks for your instruction and sharing of this. It's remarkable!
The best tutor on the net with warmth, humour, a totally relaxing personality - what's not to love?
Thank you! 😃
