If you want more speed on the Infraction along with good run time, why not go 6S and gear down? I'd try that before swapping the motor to a higher-Kv 4S-only motor.
You want the body to stop rubbing, usually it's the front that gets pulled down by the wind making the body scrape. Easy fix bro, install a foam bumper, cut to fit that will prevent the front of the body from flexing also will improve your aerodynamics
@@longboardguy dude, I am a Traxxas fanboy all the way and have many many Traxxas builds, but I will say my 6s Typhon and 8s Talion would absolutely decimate an XO1 in drag, top speed everything.
Both are awesome, not a Traxxas defender or anything, I can not deny how impressive the durability and price of ARRMA rc vehicles are. As for the XO-1 I personally love the thing, runs a little hot and shuts of the motor sometimes so it doesn’t overheat then comes back on. Anyway, as for it spinning out of control, that was common for the original model that didn’t have the new body and TSM. Mine you have to try to get out of control with TSM assistance at 100%. If your turning with some loose stuff on the road with it at high-ish speeds, it can loose control but corrects itself and doesn’t put itself in harms way. I also don’t feel TSM limiting the car to it’s potential either. Occasionally thing break, shreds through tires and half shafts snap decently often, but it’s part of the hobby.
I dont know much about these cars and the gears and everthing. But what car or truck can i buy that is fast out of the box? For under 300? At least 50mph

I can't decide if I should get a infraction or a felony are my 2 choices even though the X01 has also been my dream rc but not until later, do you have any thoughts on what one?
The infraction is going to handle better than the felony. With a felony you have larger tires in the rear so the differential gearing in the rear is different and you have to make sure that regardless you have those larger wider diameter tires whereas with the felony you don't have to worry about that.
I don't have either of them but when I get one it would have to be the infraction. I've never had an arma car but I've heard they are good company. Only thing about the Infraction is I don't care for the hotrod body. I've seen nascar body's online and would definitely go with that

That's what I have seen. The XO1 just isn't stable enough. And armor with the gyro and seems like it's more planted has little more weight to it. Arma should have just named it the XO1 Killer!
1/7 FELONY 6S BLX Street Bash All-Road Muscle Car RTR, Black Trying to check this rc car vs the x01 i sold my x01 cuz malfunction after 2 years having it. But i look at the arma in i like the body plus u can go up to 8s
To me there both awesome cars in there own way. I love my infraction for just hooning in car parks or big flat grounds whilst doing drifting slides and burnouts and doughnuts. But for the xo1 we have a old velodrome and that is the shiz for speed laps .
I think I want an X-01 for some onroad fun this year. A big beautiful car it’s so smooth and fast. I think I’m gonna buy myself a roller and put one of my spare esc in the car. I have a Tekno RX8 and a HW Max6 laying around haha. I’ll run it to begin with on a Turnigy 2000kv 8.5D motor Just making use of electronics I have.

actually, the best sounding RC would be the E Revo 2. You can always tell when someone is running an E Revo 2 because nothing even comes close to sounding that good.
The Traxxas XO-1 tires are crap. There is no grip what so ever with these tires. My XO-1 is all over the place its not stable at all. There is to much play in the steering rack!
I had the same experience that's why sold the XO it felt like I was on ice skates I couldn't justify the price for the car not being controllable that's why I bought but rustler VXL which I had total control
How funny u gave lots the excuse about the traxxas been not good but it was faster anyway and the arrma was so loud that couldn't watch the whole video
You changed the tires on the Infraction...why not change the ones on the XO? You down Traxxas every chance you get. Hell just givem to me if you don't want them.

In my opinion Traxxas makes the better quality vehicles period. I like Arrma cars, I even was a Keaton, but it's seems like the design their vehicles to compete with Traxxas. The Infraction is very nice, but it sounds like it's trying to hard to hit those speeds. And I hear they have overheating problems. Xo1 just seems like it's a better quality car

My Felony servo went doing figure8s on 4s. Junk servo. My Senton keeps getting rocks stuck in the servo. My Slash and 4tec GT ARE better builds. Hell my Slash is 53mph and 4tec 59mph on 3s. Don't get me wrong...I like Arrma but they are at best comparable to Traxxas but not better.
Like I have mentioned b4....the xo1 needs updates other then just tsm. Platform has been for years and needs to be updated. You need to realize that i have had about 5 xo1s since their release SEVERAL years ago and the only update has been tsm and different color bodies....heck even yahoo has updated their software products several times since then and not just gave us just "a new color" . Traxxas is number 1 in the industy but is slowly losing that position to companies like arrma to name a few bc they have several platforms that need to be updated...

I want the xo1, but with the arma body. That under chassis motor air scoop is helpful.

I have taken both the XO1 and Infraction apart. The Arrma is by far the better rig.
ABOlsen80X no way the x-01 is an engineering marvel it’s a beautiful car. The Arrma is noisy and less refined and not nearly as fast either.
