Miriam Therese "MT" Winter, who wrote the words for this song, is a 2002 Inductee to Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame. MT is a Medical Mission Sister, composer, author, and musician; founder of the Women's Leadership Institute at Hartford Seminary. MT also wrote the beautiful song "Joy Is Like The Rain". I believe MT Winter is still alive today.
