whoever was involved in the animation really knew how to give the castle some weight when it moved, the fact that it takes a little while for it disappear and the way the gears move so slowly shows this.
I like how when it appears or disappears, it creates an explosion of pressure due to the air displacement. It's that attention to detail that puts this scene over the top for me.

I think Dracula is immune to sun light as the room he moves the castle from is exposed to the light of what I’d have to assume is the light of evening/setting sun. And since he isn’t affected by the same means that all other vampires instantly die to (holy water doesn’t incinerate him, and the morning star [while causing an explosion] does not cause Dracula to explode as seen with other vampires) this leads to why I believe he lacks the weaknesses of all other vampires and why it required his heart being staked and head being cut off before having his decaying remains burned to truly kill him.
