- Who knew that you could go on Safari in Sri Lanka? We have left Ella (our favourite spot in the country) to make our way down towards Yala National Park.
Here we saw some of the local Sri Lankan wildlife including Asian elephants and more!
We ended our day at the most Instagramable swing in the world at Unuwatuna.

That's why it is called paradise, you could be swim in indian ocean 30 centigrade and could be chilled within 3-4 hours down to 10 centigrade, you could swim, dive or any water sport at sea and within another 1 hour spend your time at wild life. within any destination 3-4 hours for historical site.... so isn't it a paradise and you can spend your vacation completely with a lowest cost but world class.....

There are lot of nice places in the world ..wht make s SriLanka especial is that u can just burn in the sea and then go back to misty hill country and chill less than 3 hours duration ...

Sri Lanka was in a lot of videos a few years ago and I put it on our travel bucket list. Glad to be reminded of it again. I also like the idea of getting away from beaches and cities. Thanks for showing us this view of the country. Such beautiful valleys and waterfalls (oh and the food). -Henry

They love it! Super friendly! Maybe we felt they were extra nice as just before we filmed Morocco in which the locals aren't huge fans of cameras!
As a srilankan its not a problem here people love it except those ones who are shy
We're friendly, but not all of us like cameras on us.
u can only see leopards in the early morning. u have to be the first car at the spot. i was lucky 2 years ago
Yes, and now a days government has enforce some laws to minimize daily Safari's to the jungle to protect animals freedom👍

@@flyingthenest I'm spending the night in Negombo (since I land at 4am) and then was planning Unawatuna, Tangalle, Mirissa, Ella, Kandy, Dambulla, and then Negombo/Colombo. But I'm super flexible and open to adventure and opportunity.

I'm a school girl from srilanka.didnt you go to chilaw. There is the munneshwaram kovil. It's famous. We surely go there on munneshwaram mangalya.though we are Catholic me and my sis love going there eating wadai and all of that.
And we were in mirrissa last april....

4:44 Yala park is full of dust in dry periods. It will be worst if you travel in dry period(no muddy rides,no green plants,too hot and can't see much animals in noon).Morning and evening is the best time for travel in Yala

Shop around for prices for jeep drivers for safari. They are notorious for overcharging. Don’t let them charge by person. Spend couple hundred rupees and ask a local guy to shop around and arrange the jeep
Great footage of the safari, cool you got to see so many animals. Beach at the end looked amazing too.
Ending our trip at the beach is the perfect way to send off Sri Lanka!
