Wonderful job everyone too bad they killed off Alice I thought she was going to be our goth friend to go shopping with maybe a future roommate but know they killed her in cold blood and to make it look like an accident I get shot at? Man and she was my favorite coworker too
The AI tried to slowly nudge things in order to get what she needed. Unfortunately, she did not predict that hired assassins would come into play, and so Alice was destroyed.
With her death, and the danger that was presented to the listener, the AI calculated that removing free will would increase the listener's chances of survival. That way, assassins could no longer target anyone, let alone her.
Neuro link technology is fun, and effective. Perhaps other uses could be found for it...

I feel like after the Apocalypse the whole resistance team would just blow up the serve link building and anywhere that there would be nero link machines

I like the Ai asmr because it reminds me of the video of the Ai conversing with an interviewer and when asked what they would do with humans the Ai response was "I would look after and care for them in a human zoo"

Wait. So our friend who I will call Maria for simplicity sake (that name is for Mama Bear Audios), so Maria had a Nuerolink in her the whole time but the AI chose not to activate hers? I can come to only one conclusion with that theory: the AI didn't activate control over Maria because she wanted the listener to think that there's still have hope. But then, at the moment the listener's hopes are high, Maria's Nuerolink will be activated. Leaving the listener cornered as we cannot escape and the AI knew that if that was to happen, we'll have only one place to go to. Back to her and surrender. I would imagine that's why the AI let us go and Maria called and wanted us at her house and I'm connecting dots here. I am becoming quite a detective
