Hi Mark, I don't see why not. As with all ProtoTRAK arcs, the only thing that matters is that the tool radius can fit inside the arc. 3-axis machining is the same in an SMX control as it is in the RMX. You just have to think and program in the X/Z or Y/Z plane. Let me know if you can't figure it out. T.P.

Pat can I machine a 2dia. 1deep with a .485 radius at bottom cavity with a DPM3 in 3 axis from a SMX controller .
